Tail light correction help

Just wondering, what do you guys use to correct tail lights? I've seen a lot of people correct tail light during the correction process but I haven't read a lot about what products everyone uses. I assume M105 or M205 with an Orange or White pad would work. Thanks for the input!

105/205 works great. If the light is really oxidized and scratched it will probably need a wet sanding though. But I don't see a lot of that in tail lights.

Treat them like you would headlights.

for lightly scratched and swirled just polish them like you would paint.

for oxidation and fading wetsand and then polish just like paint.

I've done headlights. But most tail lights I've come across are just swirled up. I could probably just take care of most of them with some 105. When using 105 on paint we need to follow it up with a finer polish. But on tail lights, have you guys noticed if the is necessary?

IME 105 will leave a little haze on the tail lights just like paint....follow up with 205 and they clear up nicely.

On a '99 Silverado that had been neglected its whole life I used Meg's PlastX with a cotton towel to clean the third light & tail lights then followed up with WG Plastik Sealant. Took awhile to get the grime and fading off but the end result was worth it.
