Extra gloss for white color.

Wolfgang Fuzion offers free refill, yes it is expense thats why I wait for a sale and the products does go along way.

As been stated here PREP, CLEANING goes along with final results.

I recently switched over from mostly dark cars to now a white audi s4. So I know exactly what your talking about.

If you feel that the paint could look glossier, you are most likely correct.

Over the past year, I have put together a shelf of product that are used on the white s4 only.

to start off, there are product that you want to keep away from a white vehicle. Realistically you are not searching for products that are going to make the car more glossy. You should be looking for products that will make the car "Brighter" or with strong traits of "Reflectivity". There are products specifically designed with these traits.

But to get back to my original thought, here are products you should avoid, IMO and IME, on white,

1 - Products that darken the paint with rich polishing oils. ie: most Meguiars wax's. Even there new ones. (not including there UQW).

2 - Expensive high end Carnuba show car wax's (without polymers added). ie: Pinnacle Souveran, P21S concours, Miglimore. This again goes back to products that are going to darken your paint with oil's. While these products are fantastic and will look nice, they are going against what "i think" you are trying to achieve if I am understanding you correctly.

Basically anything pure carnuba based or oil's that will darken or mute the paint.

Products you will want to use are products that are designed to be very Reflective, or Bright. Here are some of my favorites that I have been using over the past year. From either a wax, paint sealant or detailing spray.

***SEALANTS***
- Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection. This is a polymer sealant, that while I believe does darken paint, it cures and adds lots of reflectivity making the car looks great in and out of the light.

- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant - Another polymer sealant that has great reflectivity.

- Menzerna Power Lock. Another Great polymer sealant. Out of the 3, this is the one that does the least darkening IME. So while its sun is out, this is "brighter" than the other 2, but when looking at the car in dark lighting or at night, the is not as wet looking as the other 2.

- Pinnacle Liquid Souveran. This is a carnuba based paint sealant. A hybrid of wax and polymers. I have only used a sample of this product and found it very similar to the Wolfgang look. But I have seen it used on white in forum pics with great results.

***WAX***
- Wolfgang Fuzion Hybrid wax. My absolute favorite for all of its traits. It does everything you could ever ask for a white car. Gloss, its very bright, sharp reflections, crisp sealant look, all while looking dripping wet.

-Pinnacle SSII. Another Hybrid wax with carnuba and reflective polymers. Very similar to the Fuzion look, but with less durability. But its not as sharp or crisp looking ans Fuzion. But easily one of the absolute best values on Autogeek. If I have not used over 8oz of each product, I probably would not notice the small differences between this and Fuzion. (minus the durability which is noticeable)

- Detailers Pro Series Max Wax. The new version in the white jar that is WOWO. This is another great product for a temporary finish. Lots of reflections , perfect on white. Good value, easy to use.

- Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid. Gives a nice look. a little tough to work with though.

***SPRAY DETAILERS/WAX***
These are the easiest ways to achieve the extra that you are looking for on any color, but especially white.

-Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz - Amazing !
-Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray - Amazing again !
-Griots Garage Speed Shine - incredible reflections and Brightness !
-Sonax Speed Wax
-Prima Hydro - Amazing !
-Prima Slick
-Optimum Instant detailer
-Optimum Car Wax
-Ultima Waterless Wash Plus - Amazing !
-DP Final Gloss
-Adams Detail Spray
-Dodo Juice Tropical Red Mist - Doesn't get any better than this !

***SOON TO BE USED***
Some products that I have on my shelf are waiting to be used. I have thoroughly read the reviews of these products and have been suggested to use them for there specific traits on light colored cars.

-Wolf Chemical Nano Sealant
-Prima Hyrdo Seal
-2 tubs of Dodo Juice Bouncer 22 wax
-Dodo Juice Light Fantastic
-Dodo Juice White Diamond
-Sonus Paint Sealant

Let me know if you have any questions. There are products I left off the list that work well for me also.

Thank you everyone,
Your informayion will help me in future. But the products mention by you guies are not available in India. I was lookig to import them from Autogeek but import duties make the cost of product twice or more, finally increasing the cost of detailing. Some brands like Optimum , Meguiar's & Collinite are introduced in India but not with full range but I am looking forward to them what can I get from them. Thank you all again.:dblthumb2:

Give Collinite 845 a try. I found it to leave a very bright and reflective finish - not what I want with my red car, but I think it'll look good on white.

I also vote for Collinite 845. Its one of the best looking waxes I've found for white. It offers great durability and its so inexpensive. Can't beat it!

Any suggestions for Palladium Silver ( really gunmetal or Pewter metallic- you know nothing is not blue any more- it's South sea Islands Enchantment and so on). I have my C300 garaged, and the complete line Of Pinnacle products but if anyone know of something better, I am wide open to suggestion. I have about a zillion buffing machines, pads, and bonnets. It is amazing what you accumulate over 20 or so years.

How would Klasse AIO and High Gloss Sealant Glaze work on white? I was going to try it on my white van, but would like to hear some feedback first.

I think it would really good even though I haven't tried it. Since its really hard to get any depth out of white, IMO a sealant works really well. Klasse Sealant Glaze is a paint to work with until you get the hang of it. I would do some searching if you haven't used it already. Its very durable and looks great, just not the most user friendly

Doing three white cars for years the combo that was hard to beat for gloss IMO was DG 105 amped up with DG Aquawax after washes.
