I used Fixer today for the first time, on my wife's heavily swirled (was that way when we got it) black Lexus RX350.

Fixer on a white pad with the DA made quick work of the heavy swirls, got almost all of the RIDS, and left me with a ready-for-LSP finish.

Only had time to do one side, will take some before/after shots when I finish up the rest.

So far, really like what i'm seeing with it.

I did the rest of the RX350 today, CarPro Fixer on an orange pad, PC7424, speed 5-6. Switched to the orange pad since the white pad the other day was taking 2-3 passes to get everything out. With the orange, only had to spot-correct RIDs in a few places.

Tried to take a few photos of a before/after, and since I was working in the garage with the door open, the lighting didn't cooperate much. This one shows the tape line pretty well. Gnarly swirls courtesy of a car dealership that "detailed" the car with a rotary and heavy black filler - swirls and holograms galore. Also pretty obvious the car was washed a lot in an automated wash - the leading and outer edges of panels were much worse. On the front quarter panel, you could actually see where the scratch-maker would engage the side, then move off...

This was after one pass. You can see a couple of straight-line RIDS that this pass didn't remove - they came out when I went over them once more.

Wipe off is easy. In fact, if worked properly, it seems very similar to how 3M Perfect-It II fine cut just sort of "disappears"...all of the sudden, it's just gone as you're polishing.

I've also used it on a white pad to get some lighter marring out of my other car...works just as well, just doesn't cut as much.
