Good to hear they listened to your request. I was not fortunate enough couple months ago and the car came back all swirled up. Now I'm going hang couple signs up so they won't make that mistake again.

I like to leave it a bit dirty so I can see instantly whether they washed it or not :) I at least leave the windows dirty from using the washers. Otherwise it might not be immediately obvious that they washed it.

LMAO!! He already gave me the WTF face when he saw my note. I have tinted windows and when he opened the door he was like "did you just get tint and thats what thats for?" I said "no...its so the don't wash my car" look on his face was priceless.

Dang man that sucks!!!! UGH!!! I was sitting there thinking "man...if they wash the car, that means I have to polish again...which means more clear coat gone" And you already know we got some really thin CC's on our cars.

RIGHT! The first thing I did when I picked up the car was pulled out in the sun and looked it over. I was relieved to see it dirty still LOL!!! WOW!!! Did I really say I was relieved to see my car dirty?! Woah!

I stick signs on the windshield, rear glass, and both front windows, just to make sure they don't miss it :D

You should record an MP3 of you telling them not to as well. That way when they start the car it will play for them. Im the MAN

I just assisted two of my kids in new car purchases (Honda CRV and Toyota Tacoma). After experiencing me during negotiations, both dealers agreed to let me do the "dealer prep" step. There was some sap on the roof of the CRV that I wanted to make sure didn't stain the paint. After the salesman bragged how awesome the detail guys were, one showed up with window cleaner and paper towels to remove the sap. Fail.
 
If requested the Honda dealer near me puts a plastic sign on the car, about the size of an upside down cool whip bowl, that says "do not wash". The down side is I doubt that magnetic sign is good for my paint.

I probably should put a thin microfiber towel under it, then their will be no doubting my obsession.

I generally do the same! Would you believe it, the dealership actually washed my freshly wax car once! I was shocked! When I asked why they needed to clean an already clean car, they simply said it looked dirty. :wow:

From now on, I am definitely going to tape a note to my steering wheel too!
