Review: Duragloss 931 Rinseless Wash with Aquawax

Do you think this product can be used as a add in water softener/ add to regular car wash soap for extra lubricity like DPRW&G/ONR?

Drew

sounds like another great rinseless product, how was the gloss compared to products like DP, ONR, and Ultima ??

Nice review.

Does Duragloss give any other dilution ratio's, i.e. similar to the different ratio's of ONR?

Did Duragloss give any indication of when this product may become available to the public?

From the original post:

The rep told me that this product will be available some time in February.

Add 0.5 oz. (approx. 4 caps) per gallon of water, use 1.0 oz. (approx. 8 caps) per gallon of water on heavily soiled surfaces.

*To make a quick detailer, add 3 oz. of concentrate to 16 oz. of water.

Very excited out this product. I have been mixing Optimum Car Wax with Optimum No rinse to achieve the same thing. But now that Duragloss is coming out with this, I will probably switch if the price is right. And knowing Duragloss, I am sure it will be.

The price is very competitive for a 16 oz size. $11 including taxes is nothing.

Great review Keith!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Troy! I know you've been wandering where this review was. :props:

Great review. I am liking the Duragloss products more and more as the reviews and comments pass on by my computer screen the last several months. These quality reviews certainly help. Thank you.

Thanks! DG products are very underrated. They are fantastic for the price.

Wow Keith! Fantastic review my friend! Where do I sign?

I love AquaWax so this is a natural. Love the slickness you got with it showing the AW is there.

Looks like it smells wonderful! :)

You are a brave man, ice cold water... Brrrrrrr

Thanks for taking all the time for the excellent photos and the entertaining and thorough writeup! I read and enjoyed every word.

Thanks review master! It means a lot coming from you. :dancebanana:

Very nice, very informative Keith. This one caught us by surprise so it's a good thing you were at the car show! I can't wait to try it out, naturally. :)

Thanks Richard! You're gonna love it. I think DG has a great hit on their hands here. They need to put new stuff out more often. Im the MAN

Nice review and interesting results. If AG picks this up after February, hopefully somebody will bump this thread so I can add it to my wishlist.

I will try my best to remember to bump this for you. :props:

Fantastic review orange camaro boy!

I am a bit surprised though that Duragloss made a new product...

I can see it now...Sal will have...

Z-91 Rinseless Wash with Z-8! comes in 8 oz bottle for $17.99!

Wonder if one day AG will carry Zaino like they did CG, then I can really get all my supplies from a one-stop shop...I hate Zaino's shipping charges! especially since they never go on sale or have any coupon codes

LOL. Funny post. That name kind of fits. Orange Camaro boy, hmm it beats my nickname on another forum. :xyxthumbs:

Keith,

That was a great in depth review with all the detail and photos to clearly see how effective the product is. Initially I was one of the rinseless wash skeptics but after using them a few times I'm now a rinseless wash believer...

Great review and I can't wait to try it....

Thanks Bobby! I tried my best on this review. Like you, I wasn't a believe in rinseless washed until I tried them out last winter. They helped me keep my car cleaned and only lose a few fingers at a time. :dblthumb2:

Fantastic review, I'll make sure we have this on our shelves as soon as it becomes available. :dblthumb2:

Thanks! I'll be looking forward to it as I want a gallon of it now.:hungry:

Great review Keith. This is one product that I will be sure to pick up. Especially since AW is one of my fav spray waxes !!!

Thanks Pat. I love AW. This rinseless made the paint just as smooth as when you apply AW as a drying aid or by itself.

Drew

That is a good question. I will try to get this information for you. I don't see any reason why it couldn't. It would turn into a wash and wax though.

sounds like another great rinseless product, how was the gloss compared to products like DP, ONR, and Ultima ??

The gloss was right on par if not better than with DP, but the slickness it left behind was unbelieveable. I have never used Ultima as a rinseless wash so I can't say on that.

Nice review.

Duragloss does not have any other dilution ratio recommendations at this time on the bottle. The product will be available sometime in February as stated in the review. :dblthumb2:

great review, looks like a great product that i didnt even hear about. hopefully my local carquest will stock this.

Excellent and informative review Keith-Thank You for sharing your experience/process with this exciting new Duragloss product.:xyxthumbs:

Can I ask you how it compared to ONG/DPRWG,for feel of lubricity-ease of use-cleaning power?

Thanks again.

Here is what the bucket of solution looked like when I was finished. Note: this was only half of the car. I didn’t do the back half because it was too cold and my hands went numb.

Great review!!! For those of you who do wash in the winter you might want to try a pair of these Neoprene gloves--they are basically a diving wet suit for your hands--not too bulky - I've had a pair for a few years and they work great--Neoprene Gloves - Neoprene Waterproof Gloves - Duluth Trading Company

Great review, was looking forward to your thoughts on the product. I'm a big rinseless wash fan, and it's great to see these newer products from Duragloss, Meguiar's, Ultima and soon Blackfire challenge ONR and DP RWG, and perhaps drive the manufacturers to better their products in response :xyxthumbs:

Great review Keith! Corey will be proud. Thanks for taking on the freezing weather to do this for us!

Yo Keith...AWESOME review...very nicely done. The product looks like it works very well. I can't believe you were out there in the cold like that. You better than me LOL! Thanks for putting this together.

Nice review Keith! I think I may try some of this when it is available.

Keith, this thread deserves a comment over here as well! Thanks so much for braving the cold. You knew there were a lot of people (myself included!) who were waiting anxiously to hear about your conclusions and thoughts on this new product! Thanks again for an excellent review!!

I read the entire review, but I missed that info for some reason. Thanks!

on the mad detailer site, this product is already for sale. i think he sells for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia though. he also sells a DG clay bar.

i wish the DG would sell clay in the US as well, seeing that this 931 can be used as clay lube too. once DG does this, they will be my primary product line i use other than Megs 105 and 205. everything else will be on the back shelf. i might have a garage sell to get rid of my other products. lol

Duragloss = Great prices, great quality!

It seems to me there were a number of DG products that were sold in the SE Asia markets that weren't available here, including a WOWA sealant.

i wonder what the reason is for this.

imo if DG changed their look, descriptions, and marketing, they would be one of the top products sold on the market right now

i wonder what the reason is for this.

Well, Meguiar's has a coating product for the SE Asia market that they don't sell here...formulated for the weather they have there. I'm not sure what goes on with DG, it may be that they do significant private label and so don't feel the need to market their own offerings as hard.
