2001...That was last time I saw any Snow statues in Chicago They were located around the John Hancock Bldg.

Thank God for insurance and investments, too.

Been a while since I've seen any snow statues in Chicago too. My winter residence is currently in Houghton, MI though.

My Wife and I enjoy driving up to Chicago...Takes a little while.
The Wife enjoys shopping, and strolling "The Magnificent Mile".
And when the lunch-time nears, and it's time to grab a bite;
We migrate to establishments, where we find such culinary delight.
After a slice, or more, of Chicago's best...Homeward bound, our faces wearing a smile.

No harm, I see, then, asking The Staff to join in the gaiety.
They may think some of us are cockamamy, or "out of our gourd";
But The Staff's limericks, if so submitted, would strike up a new chord.
Other members have contributed...So, The Staff...Why the velleity?!?!

wow bob, that was so well written
its a wonder why "others" haven't been smitten
playing hard to get may work for some
but the AG Limerick Team isn't that dumb
so we better see a limerick or I'm kickin a kitten!​

BTW...here is an amzing recipe for BLT DIP !! Its soo soooo good! Great for a Super Bowl Party!~


Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 (32 ounce) jar mayonnaise
  • 32 ounces sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf sliced white sandwich bread

Since I haven't seen an AGO Staff limerick...I'll presume a most dire fate was meted out for this unlucky feline.


Therefore, with that in mind; and, also furthering the "recipe-idea":

{Taken from an olden, Middle Ages, English rhyme...and revised for "limericking purposes":}


Oh kittens, in our hours of ease.
Our uncertain toys, often with fleas.
When pain and hunger hang over men,
We turn you into sausage then.
And much "Rabbit Stew", to please.

I remember the first few January Super Bowls, they seem so faraway.
That's when the NFL told the AFL: You'll never win...No matter who you play!
To some, what "Broadway Joe" predicted, made him sound so deranged.
But the Jets, by winning S.B.III, caused so many things to change.
The NFL/AFL "Merger" is one reason for: February Super Bowls, nowadays.

Why does it seem many feel they must use an aggressive compound?
Often charts listing just their abrasiveness level seems to confound.
Tho' overheard: "Using <2500-grit will open your eyes,
Especially when you notice the clear-coat's demise".
Then...Oh! What a lesson's been learn'd: So profound!

Today was a two step on a black SUV

Water spots, imperfections, haziness I see

A simple system with the right products, technique and tools

Can change ones perception from "need a new paint job" to "COOL!"

The sun pops out and shows that it is now imperfection free :)

Now that Ive started, I want to write some more

This thread has me thinking about rhyming words hardcore

I stepped out for a smoke and couldn't turn of my brain

AIRPLANE, OCTANE, PLEASE DON'T RAIN, IM GOING INSANE!

I can do much better in this thread if my words didnt have a censor
 
I must confess that this is my last response, for in my mind this thread is dead

No offense to the guys that started it, in my eyes you are all bad-asses from what I read

I may be an average joe with an IQ of 185.

Although Math is my biggest strength, I must say that I never did or never will lose my drive.

A high IQ don't mean S*&T amongst these amazing lyricist after what they have said!
