Thank you man! :xyxthumbs:I love it when someone brings a daily beater back from the dead. I like reading threads like this better then your new supercar detail.
:buffing:No problem! I'm down for that!
Thanks! black isn't very forgiving at all. I've practiced alot, so I'm sure in time you will be able to get the finish looking near perfect. No one starts out as a pro. It took me a long time.Awesome job. I did a job similar to this and it didn't come out as nice. Black is not at all forgiving. Great work.:xyxthumbs:
Thank you! With proper care it would be possible to keep the paint near perfect for a long time. I explained to the customer the imprtance of proper wash techniques and why to avoid the tunnel washes. Of course marring is going to happen with a daily driver, but it certainly shouldn't look like the before pictures again.wow amazing transformation....how long will the paint stay like that though?
Thanks man! :dblthumb2:Great work as always!
I dont know if you said it, but how many hours did you log on this one?
Thank you sir!Amazing job. What time did you spend for whole project? It's a really big vehicle.
Thanks! I had about 20-25 hours in it. I didn't really keep track to the minute, but it was somewhere around there.that looks great. How long did it take you to do it?
Thank for the kind word Dalton!! Good luck with your truck when you tackle it!Outstanding work Dave.
That represents a lot of physical labor and knowledge for polishing paint. Thank you for sharing. Truly inspiring work right there buddy.

Thanks man! I had about 20-25 hour in it, and that was just on the paint, there was no interior work on this job. That looks AMAZING!
Great work, how many hours did you have total in it?
:iagree: They always seem to look terrible. What is it about black full size SUVs - seems like their paint is always completely trashed. I see them on the road all the time and unless they have a 30 day sticker on them the massive swirls are apparent from a distance.
:dblthumb2::buffing:You make me SO ANXIOUS to do a correction on my Mazda 6 once the weather turns!!!!
Thank you!Terrific job that vehcle looks awesome! Those swirls were really nasty
Thanks man! :dblthumb2:Very Nice job on that Tahoe!
That had swirls galore, no light needed for that one!
Good show!
LOL, thanks man!:dblthumb2:Wheres the difference :dunno:
lol - absolutely stunning man!
I'm more than sure it didn't look that good the day it was purchased! Outstanding job!
Thanks guys! :dblthumb2:Wow great work, my Tahoe looks just like that ( the before pics I mean) it turned out great
Yep, I did remove the pinstripes at the owners request. They actually peeled off fairly easily, but left some glue behind that I took care of with 3m adhesive remover. then it was just a matter of polishing the areas.Hey I just noticed that you removed the pinstripe on this tahoe, I got the same type and it all cracked and look bad , how do you get rid of it
