Ordered my STI

well its official I ordered my STI tonight..Got the sedan in dark gray metallic.
So now its just the waiting game for it. The one salesman comes over and ask..how did you get your mustang to look that way..no swirls in it..he said to guy selling me the car "we cant let our guys wash it...they will ruin it"
 
Nice buy, post pics when you get it home. Did you tell the dealer not to touch the car once it arrives? I assume you did, I hope they listen, especially after his comment about not trusting his guys to wash a car!

yep they know to not touch the car in any way put to do the initial inspection they have to do on all the cars..but there will be no washing or anything by them...I will be driving home a dirty car..and that is A OK in my book
 
Solid choice. I almost walked out of the dealership a few weeks ago with a new 2012 WRX. Very hard choice not too!

I love how they realized that if they gave your car a wash they would swirl the paint up bad lol. At least they realize that your car paint is swirl free for a good reason. :xyxthumbs:

I joined over there but so far it seems from most of the threads I am reading its filled with a bunch of assholes who are not very helpful and they just dog on new comers and only spit out..use search button..I dont think i will partake much in that community

Hey! I am part of NASIOC and I am not an A-hole!:) I have sent a ton of guys to AG from there. Plus AG has a member/employee on there, don't know if is Nick or someone else. Either way it is cool to see AG staff reaching out to other forums.
Anyway, congrats on the Subie and can't wait to see it in your hands away from the dealer. Hope you have a 3M paint protectant film kit on the way, as well as an order from AG for Opti-Coat.:D
 
Nice, Congrats. I cant wait to see pictures. Its funny how they know there detailers ruin the cars haha.

I feel you on that. I'm on S2KI forum and I left that forum and barely look on it anymore because its just a bunch of garbage. I hate forums like that
