After waiting 6 weeks for my car to be built from the factory, I finally got it this past Saturday! I am loving it so far and have been tackin' on the miles ever since I picked it up.

The exterior is called "Tuxedo Black" and has a TON of metallic flake in the paint. As you can see from the photos, it is extremely shiny in the sun.

The interior is called "Tuscany Red" and is two-tone leather. The interior shots were my first attempt at car interior shots.

Steps I took to detail it:
1 - Wash with PB Super Slick Shampoo
2 - Clayed with Pinnacle Clay bar
3 - PB Black Hole Show Glaze
4 - PB EX Sealant
5 - Pinnacle Carnuba wax
6 - (Interior) Zymol Leather Conditioner
7 - (Interior) PB Natural Shine protectant
8 - PB Tire Gel

Thanks! And that is literally what it looks like in "real life"

Ford did a great job on the paint. Clear bra going on tomorrow to keep it fresh!

beautiful car. love the focus front end. that really is a lot of flake. nice backdrop and great pics. enjoy your car.

I did not know that nice of an interior could be had in a Focus, cool car!

Nice buy!! The flakes on that thing are poping!!

The interior combo looks really classy!! I really like the red accent to the black.

Have fun with it :props:

how much contaminants did the clay find?

Not much actually...it barely came away with anything. I was surprised, maybe the dealer did some work on it before I picked it up??

Yeah, it was actually what turned me onto the car in the first place

Thank you, when I saw it in the sun for the first time my jaw dropped

Very nice, the Focus has come a long way. Sweet interior and metal flake is awesome.

It sure has, I never liked the Foci until this generation.

Nice car! The interior is awesome. Enjoy.

My truck was supposed to be tuxedo black, but the tsunami stopped the pigments from Japan, and I misunderstood when the dealer said he could get black.

Yeah, Ford has 2 blacks, Tuxedo and Ebony. Ebony doesn't have any flake.

Damn!! That looks like glitter on the paint!!! Amazing number of flakes in there!

Nice paint; love the flakes... must be better in person. I really like the interior and last but not least you have a stick shift!!!! We are a dying breed.

Haha, yeah I love driving stick. My last car was an auto and I switched to that after I got rid of my 5 speed Eclipse and regretted it everyday! So glad to be back

Very Nice.

I've been very impressed with Ford's choice of paint over the last few years. That black with metal flake is the exact color I'd like on a new vehicle if I were to ever get one. Saw it a few years back on a new (at the time) Taurus, and said to mysself, "One day Ted. One day."

Im the MAN
