Another job at Pro Shield in Sterling VA, from a couple months back that I never got around to posting. I was at David's shop getting ready to do the LeMans Blue 335i from the other thread when he asked me to look at a car that had just been dropped off. This virtually brand new Caddy was a NIGHTMARE. It was fairly obvious it had been washed improperly, and my suspicions were confirmed when the owner picked it up. He explained that he took it down to the local Sud Spot at least once a week for it's "bath." After pointing out everything to him under the halogens, & educating him on proper wash practices, we settled on a full front end correction prior to the Venture Shield.

Products used:

Meguiar's APC
CG Citrus Wash
Pinnacle Speed clay
DoDo Juice Born Slippery clay lube
M105 on LC PFW pad via FLEX 3401
HD Uno on LC CCS Orange pad via FLEX 3401
Pinnacle Advanced Finishing polish on LC CCS White pad via FLEX 3401

Various shots of the hood showing MASSIVE defects, a sad state of affairs for this 4k mile beast.

Thanks! The only panels touched were the front bumper, hood, and front fenders. From start to finish, I had about 5 hours into this job.

DAYUM!!! You did a FANTASTIC job on the car!!! Did you get those halogen lights from Home Depot?

very nice, how you liking HD UNO?

I like it a lot, been using it for a year or so. For heavy correction I still go to M105, but for most jobs it is great. Also, the lack of dusting for the most part is a big positive aspect as well.
