Any thoughts on my website design?

The guy designing my website just sent me this, it's only the design, hence the dummy text, photos and the fact that none of the buttons work. But I was just wondering what you guys thought about the look.

I really like it Max! If possible, have a slideshow of pictures of work you have done on the main page where the Lambo is now.

looks professional. most owner designed sites lack that look imo and it's worth it to pay for the professional feel

get your face on there. I told paul the same thing at boot camp (fort meyers detailing). You need to build trust and showing your face helps to do so. Assume a complete stranger just found the site. You're selling detailing, and you're selling 'max'. there is plenty of room for shiny cars also.

keep us posted

edit: in fact, consider putting up the pic of you shaking hands with Mike Phillips somewhere. the photo with the certificate in your hand. I now have mine featured on my 'about me' page. Again, trying to build trust.

Looks great! Only thing I'd suggest is lose the stock photos in favor of ones you have taken yourself.

Looks good, nice and clean. I would recommend making it a little wider, I'm at my work computer and it has crap resolution and there is plenty of room on the sides for expansion.

It looks like a Photoshop mock up (am I correct?) If so, I would assume you are going to make the width variable?

mission is missing an "s"

looks good though. Also lots of great ideas above.

Thanks for the tips, forgot to add that in the final version there will be a slideshow where the Lamborghini is. I'll talk to the designer about the width thing, thanks for the heads up

I was planning on putting a picture of myself, my only concern was people getting put off when they see that a teenager owns the company. Occasionally I can tell people are a little surprised when they realize how young I am but once I start talking and I guess they realize that I know what I'm talking about I don't think they mind the fact that I'm 16. My worry was that since I can't obviously talk to people and show them that I know what I'm talking about (except I guess for testimonials on the site and things like that) people may be put off by my age. What do you guys think?

I just talked to the guy designing it and he said that the only reason that happened was because essentially it's just a photo or a screenshot of his web design program. Thanks for the heads up though.

I can completely understand what you mean about your age and how customers might view your business. I am 16 myself and plan on detailing over the summer, might start a little business. There are few auto detail shops in my area so I might get some business. But the fact that some young teenager is working on their car could be a problem with some people.

Yeah, I had a feeling that's what it was being as you can't click anything. Good luck with it, it looks fantastic! :dblthumb2:
