Try this without a steamer. This Xterra was one trashed interior. I’m not sure what that junk was in the console tray but it was no match for the Dupray steamer. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken with APC and brushes.

Thanks. I think it was a combination of cola and candy melted and left for months. It was hardened and sticky. The rest of the interior was similar and I did ok compensation wise.

That sounds about right. I'm just not sure if the tobacco was Cigarette or something else if you know what I mean. I wanted to ask them how long they had been living in the car.

I bought the VX5000 first And it is a good machine. It did most everything I needed and I did not run out of steam very often. I used the hit water injection mostly on engines and door jams. I bought the Hill Injection because I wanted to try doing exteriors. The increased heat and pressure over the VX is impressive and I have used it on several exteriors. I use the hot water injection on heavy dirt, wheels, dirty tires and wheel wells.

I did not use hot water injection on the nasty console of this car but did use it a lot on door jams and wheels.

All three if the machines you are considering are good machines. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten the Hill Injection and never looked back. You have to fill it more often but it heats up fast and puts out tremendous steam.

Sounds like the Hill Injection will be the ticket, then. Filling it up more often isn't a big deal considering it's continuous fill, so I don't mind that.

I have been totally happy and impressed with it so far. I had my doubts about steam cleaning paint but it works great with Opticlean or similar.

The Hill Injection is a beast. I tested a Tosca locally at Dupray and I was going to buy it, but my friend found me a killer deal on a used Polti Eco Pro 3000 which for my needs right now is enough. I only paid $250 locally for my Polti, however the Hill Injection is in another league for sure.

No doubt it will save you time. You would have to did this stuff out and then clean with brushes. The steam just eats it.
