Whew...another week over and done with! Thank God it's Friday!!!! Happy Friday boys and girls!!!

I decided to post some songs to get this weekend started in high gear! I found a couple of good classic rock songs:

So as most of you know, I got my car back from the body shop. Overall they did a fantastic job. I still would like to look at the car in different lighting. I think, when they washed my car, they washed it with a really strong detergent because I no longer get any beading when its wet. It rained last night and I was excited to look at my hood and see the water sheet off....yeah no...it didn't.

So...this weekend I may do a rinseless wash on it, clay, and then put a layer of wax on, minus the bumper. I need something to hold me down long enough until spring when I can polish to remove some very light swirls and scratches. We'll see....first things first...I need get my taxes done. Tonight I'm getting up with one of my boys...its been a long time since I've had a guys night out.

Other then that...I'm laying low this weekend. How about you guys? What do you guys and gals have planned?

busy busy weekend for me.....
today clean up the shop day(looks like a tornado went thru)then a few cold ones

Tommarrow Got a nissan titan for a extreme makeover marathon...then a few cold ones

and Sunday I'll be glued to the tv for the Daytona500 and a few cold ones.

The truck is Black and man it looks like Crap! Swirl city and sratched beyond belief. this truck belongs to a good friend so he is going to get a crash course on detailing.

You can grow potatoes on the floorboards with all the dirt and mud.

I did a test spot the other day so the process is dialed in I'm looking at about 20-30 man hours on this thing.

My son is coming over with his camera to help me document.

we start at daylight saturday!
 
After cleaning the snow from the driveway, going to the chiropractor (regular appt), and clearing the end from the snowplow Again, maybe do an ONR on the car and truck.

WOAH!! Yeah definitely take some before and after pics. I just got back from getting lunch across the street and I saw pretty much the same thing. Truck looks like its been offroading. I cringed because its all dried on.

This doesn't sound fun lol....atleast the snow part. I wanna go get my back adjusted...its terrible. But I heard once you go, you should keep going back.
 
I wanted to get my back adjusted once. Mrs. Pilot told me that would require having a spine. I took that as a dig.
 
I have a good sized snow blower, so it wasn't that bad. This was a wet, heavy snow, so am glad I didn't have to shovel it.

I had my back and hip out of place years ago. After the chiro got it back in place and it stayed, have been going every month - 6 weeks to keep it from getting that bad again. The hip pinched the sciatic nerve, after walking for a while, my leg felt like it was on fire. Not getting it taken care of, it changed from burning to hurting before I went to the chiropractor. It took about 6 weeks of twice a week to get it all back in place and stay (because I was still working, and putting it out again).

I was on cement floors in factories for 40 + years, Lots of lifting and carrying, it all takes a toll. If you find a good chiropractor, once your back is straightened out, you shouldn't have to go that often.

Yeah good thing you had the snow blower...how much snow did ya'll get?!

Yeah I think imma need to go to the chiropractor...I feel like it needs to be cracked and shifted back in place. LOL! Gawd I feel old!

Hey Ted! Happy Friday buddy! The basement was dry this morning, so I turned the fan off. I'm really hoping that it was the Front Hose Bib valve and not the drain pipe. It would really suck if that was the case. Have a great weekend man!
 
Happy Friday to you too. It seems that the "short" weeks take longer to get to Friday than a regular five day work week. I am glad it's finally here.
 
Happy Friday Joe!!! Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of enjoying a short week. My business unit within my company doesn't celebrate certain holidays :(

But yes...I know what you mean...funny how that works sometimes.

Definitely a good idea considering you had that accident. Your regular doctor will frown on the chiropractor but if you find a good one, they're worth it and do work. (I've had both btw and yeah there is a big difference between good & bad)

GF is working this weekend (nurse) so I'm on my own. Washing the Jeep one day. Might go try to find some snow up in the mountains to play in tomorrow though so that means Sunday washing if so. Nothing much other than that. Considering I'm going on a day road trip next weekend though, I'm probably not going anywhere this weekend due to gas $$$.

I had been contemplating the idea of going to a chiropractor for awhile, even before the accident. It will probably do me some good now huh?! I'll look into them in my area. I know they're all over so I'll have to do some research on them.

Have fun in the snow! I don't miss that stuff at all! Its been a very mild winter here in DC. They say its supposed to get up in the 70s today but drop back down to the 40s tomorrow. :-| I wish old man winter would make up his mind.

The sky decided to punish us Chicagoland people with what I would call Snowpocalypse.

So I plan on burring inside after work, and trying to not venture back outside if I do not have to.

Truth is, I wouldn't even snow blow if my girlfriends car wasnt so low to the ground.....

Finally looks like winter up here in Michigan after a week of things melting. Got 6inches back on Wed and another 3 are on the way.

I'll probably just be watching the races all weekend.

Yeah, I will have to drive to find any. It's in the upper 60's here in the "valley" lol. Like I said though, with the off-road trip next Sunday I should probably just save the gas money though especially with the prices going through the roof everywhere.

Definitely check out a Chiro. Getting everything "in line" keeps everything working better. I've found I get sick a LOT less since I've been going and when I do it's not as bad or as long. Considering I don't exercise as much as I should and am way out of shape, I'd say that's a pretty good benefit since the out of shape thing usually contributes to getting sick/etc. more often.
 
Happy Friday everyone. This weekend I'm going to be pulling my transmission out finally. Also going to try to squeeze in the H7 review while the car is up on jackstands. :)
 
Happy Friday everyone! Slow weekend here, have to go through some rules and do some updating at another forum I'm a moderator on, but other than that, no plans!
