I've found the best of both worlds, its a hybrid wash. Maybe is should name it after myself, the SSWM. I clean the wheels traditionally with a hose, bucket, and wheel cleaner.
Them I pressure clean the vehicle with water(coin-op) or foam (home). I pretreat each panel with waterless wash, and wash it with rinseless GDWM style.
This way works just as good as a traditional wash, saves no water, and is much faster for me. I'll never do a rinseless wash without pressure rinsing the vehicle first, as long as there are coin-ops. Also, rinseless leaves less no water spots and more gloss IMHO.
