This really does suck, I put an order last week worth about $100 of merch and UPS damages it and now it's being sent back to Autogeek. My problem is, is that it was suppose to arrive yesterday so I can wash and detail my car this weekend. I called this morning to see if I can get it shipped so it'll at least arrive on Monday since I live in Florida. But I can't even do that because I was told the lady who works on this isn't working on Saturday. So the earliest I can get my package would be late next week/Wednesday and that's just to late as I will be going away on a trip then immediately back to school afterwards. So basically the product will be sitting there for a month or two.

I feel like this is a bit unacceptable as nobody can do anything about this. Anybody able to give me some advice what to do or who to contact?

Thanks a lot.

Having had UPS destroy/lose a shipment before, you just kind of have to roll with it... In my experience autogeek will do everything they can to replace your stuff, often before they even have the damaged stuff back to them. But, there are limitations, weekends included.

Ups doesnt ship on weekends anyway.... so no dice ,even if customer service was there.

I was under the impression UPS ships/receives on Saturday, just nothing on Sunday. So I was hoping if the order is at least replaced today it might get here either Monday or Tuesday since it's always been 1 day shipping to me from Autogeek.

Unless I'm wrong about the UPS shipping on Saturday, then I guess it's kind of hopeless :[. Man this really put a damper on my day.

nothing can be done at this point other than waiting....I hate UPS. Fed Ex is my preference every time I am in charge of shipping something.

I know you can get special delivery (extra cost) on Saturday or use to be able too, but I know hour local ups customer service location is closed on Saturday.

1) You need to go to school
2) You can pay for expedited shipping
3) Next time, don't plan things without room for error. For example, if you do not have the supplies to do a detail job for a customer but scheduled it, then you order the supplies hoping it to get here before the appointment date. Have everything you need then act accordingly.

Wow. You guys act like its his fault. He said his car. Not a customer. Ups sucks bad. Fed ex and USPS is where it's at. There shouldn't just be one person in the office that can take care of this stuff. Look how big AG is getting now. Seems like they need to train someone else or hire more people. Just my .02.

+1 for usps...although i can't choose which shipping with my orders.

Knock on wood never had an issue with ups. FedEx on the other hand has delivered packages of mine to the wrong house at least 3x I am aware of. Glad neighbors (blocks away) are honest and brought them to me

Meghan posted a few months back that you can place a note in the comments box telling them which courier you prefer.

For real? Sweet!

Yep, here's one post (I've read it on other threads as well though):

I can understand everyone has their favorite carrier, that is why we let you pick what you like. If you don't like UPS all you have to do is put a note in the comments box for Fedex, US Mail or UPS.

If misery deserves company then you're among friends.

Most if not all here have had packages destroyed by UPS. Autogeek goes to great lengths to ensure your products survive even the most rough handling but many times it just isn't enough, no fault of theirs.

While most of my packages from Autogeek arrive intact, the exterior of the box show signs of rough or abusive handing and I've only had one shipment that UPS has completely destroyed. UPS notified me that my shipment had become so damaged and had to be returned to Autogeek.

Autogeek was very quick in repackaging and sending out another order. I know everyone has insurance and UPS ultimately ended up footing the bill but if the gorillas they employ handeled our shipments they way they would handle their own everyone would be a lot better off.

Not every UPS driver operates in this fashion but the number of damaged shipments is just unacceptable...

It simply boils down to caring about someone else's property...

I know this isn't the OP's fault. But it's not AG'S fault either. They are one of my all time favorite companies. They go out of their way to help their customers. The people there actually care. Yes they ate getting bigger but some of the best people there have been there since the beginning and that's what makes them great. Ups is also not my favorite company Because they have grown too big to care. These things happen.

I hate UPS too. Have had packages damaged, delivered to wrong house, etc. What really gets me is they have actually repackaged an obviously damaged box that was leaking and still delivered it as it was beginning to leak out of the SECOND box. Really? Like I wasn't going to notice that?
