Review: Carpro Eraser

Hey Marc,

The MSDS states < 30%. Technically, less than 30% can mean 2%, but I'm guessing it's somewhere between 25-30%. Still too high, IMO. Many people love this products, though.

Thanks, I thought it was at 30% I didn't realize the less than part. Next time i use it i'll bring my current 2:1 bottle and one at 1:1 and see if I notice a difference.

Excellent review! I have yet to try eraser, but it has been on my to try list.

Thanks Ben! You need to give this product a shot. It's worth it.

Great review, thxs. Going through my second liter, is it sold by the gallon?

Thanks Rsurfer! I wish this is sold by the gallon. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Excellent Review Marc!! I too love Eraser!! It's one of those products that once you use it becomes one of your most used products. I'll be ordering some more shortly also.

Thanks for the compliments Corey! I appreciate it coming from you! After getting to try this product, I know that I'll be using it more often especially before applying OC2.0.

The smell is similar to the squash scent JDM air fresheners.

I've used this product also and it works very well. The proof was in the fact that my waxes/sealants were lasting a lot longer due to a better surface bond.

You are 100% correct ont he scent and the cool squash air freshener in my car confirms it :) Maybe that is why I like eraser so much. Now if Iron-X only smelled that good.

Iron-X is rough on the nose for sure, and it sticks around. You can smell it inside the car after using it. And no matter if you wear gloves either, it some how makes it onto your hands, and it stinks!!!!

Any reason to pick eraser over Griot's Garage Pre-Wax Cleanser?

Yes, Eraser is specifically developed for use before using a coating. The GG is a pr-wax cleaner which means it doesn't have to remove all oils. It's been a bit since I looked up the GG product but last time I did it said it was made with orange oils if I recall correctly. That won't cut it if using a coating. Having said all that I have never tried them side by side and am less familiar with the GG product.
