Looking for the best way to apply touch up paint to the following scratches. I've cleaned, polished, etc... and am ready to Opti-Coat, but want to try my hand at fixing these two scratches first. I will be using Nissan touch up paint. The color is Bayshore Blue, a baby blue metallic. Any advice ? Thanks !

The scratch in the first pic doesn't look deep at all. I would suggest the Dr Chip system for that. Smearing it FTW. As far as the 2nd, that is a scuff from abrasion. It is to plastic, a bumper I'm guessing. I would suggest using the Dr Chip on it too. You might also try applying the paint with one of these and then using the Dr Chip system to level it:

That first scratch barely looks like a scratch at all. I would compound that out. If compound doesn't work I would lightly wet sand with 2500 and then buff. The second one will never look good with a touch up. Personally I would sand it level and using spray touch up feather it in the best I could. Hit it with clear and wet sand it smooth. That would net the least crappy repair.
