On my car I'm currently have some DJ Supernatural wax. I'm using OCW after every 2-3 washes for some added protection. I have recently received some CG V7 and want to give it a go. I don't imagine this would be an issue to alternate these products at all. Am I right?

shouldn't be an issue. let us know what you think of the V7

Should not be a problem. I have used v7 on top of almost everything imaginable. Seems to work great anywhere.

Yup. V7 works well with anything. Don't judge it so quickly when you use it though; I felt even using optimum instant detailer gave a slicker feel than V7 when first wiped on; V7 just felt like I used a waterless wash, not slick at all, but clean at least; but give it 12-24 hours, the slickness really does increase like mad.

I totally agree. V7 seems to setup and cure. For me its always WAY slicker a few hours later.

good to hear, i always thought it looked a little dull at first.

Excellent. I'll try some after my next wash and report my thoughts back here

Wash, dried and applied a coat of V7 today

I really like the smell. A sweet orange/citrus smell. If they realised an air freshener this scent I'd probably buy it

I felt as though I used twice as much product as I needed to. I feel as though the product needs a fine spray head. Would allow for better coverage and use less product.

While it does not feel as sleek applying as some of the quick detailers I have applied I do like the sharp gloss finish it gives. Not as sharp and deep looking as when I have used DJ Red Mist Tropical but gives my paint a similar look and is no where the cost.

I had been considering buying a waterless cleaner for my door shuts, jambs etc as don't do them as often as I'd like to when cleaning the car. However after using this I'm considering using the V7 with ONR to clean and apply protection when washing the car.

On some of the CG videos, they show them misting the MF, then wiping.

I used this method on my motorcycle and it turned out great :dblthumb2:

Yup, first time i used V7, I definitely used way too much. each panel I just give 2-4 sprays after pre-misting the MF.

It rained overnight so can't comment on any increased slickness

Thanks. Thats the method I currently use. Without a pre-sprayed towel I would just feel like I'm wiping the product off

Definitely agree. Don't see the need for any more then 2-4 sprays depending on the size of the panel

Well, in the video, he sprays the MF towel only- no sprays directly onto the panel.

Doing both might be a waste, so either spray your MF or the panel, a little goes a long way.

Ok thanks I'll try that next time.
