Okay.... as for now i do not know how to put pictures in my thread... so bare with me as i go find that guide to learn how to post pictures.

Im addicted with many different types of MF towels... so far i have almost every Cobra towels AG offer.

This thread is to give everyone idea of the quality of towels from AG and CG.

I only detail as a hobby and as we all know QUALITY MF towels are pricey!! 8$ for a towel is alot for me... since i used to get paid at autozone 8$ an hour. lol

Today i am comparing the Cobra Gold Plush, Supreme 530 VS Chemical guys Red Fluffer.

Personal preference, I believe the Cobra Gold is the best quaility/price AG has to offer... their 16x16 is 3 for $12.99.
But obviously is not the softest MF towel out there, but i find it excellent in removing wax and polish or anything u can think of.

CG Red Fluffer 24x16 selling @ 6 for $12.45. I think that's a hell of a bargain here. I had the Fluffer and Gold Plush side by side, and i thought the Fluffer is about (1 GRADE LEVEL) Below from the Cobra Gold.

This is the first review i ever created... so im sorry if it's not the best article to read....
Just thought some of you out there would like to know these information!!

I use the CG red fluffer towels for a bulk of my detailing - QD's, polish/wax removal, etc. For the price they are literally unbeatable. Cobra's are super nice too obviously but for the price I feel like CG wins hands down. Try them.

Forgot to mention... i also own CG's gold super towel.... in comparison these are really just like wheel maintenance towels. Is not soft enough to touch the paint

I always bought CG Fluffers in the past, great towels. I have about 50. Ordered up some more over the winter,VERY disappointed. The whole feel of the towel is different.Thinner, terrible stitching.I wont be ordering any more until they go back to how the used to be.

Pointing at new version

Used them 3X so far and are starting to fall apart. Please CG get the old version back!!!!!!

Idk about before... but i personally think the ones now is still very affordable... but let me go look at the stitching on my towels

Just checked my towels... the stitching is definitely not bad, you probably got a bad batch

My towels actually look like the good one that you have... stitching wise

How about the color of border (not that it matters)LOL but is it a dark green or light? Just curious thanks

Hmm, what CG towels would you guys recommend then for QD/WW/spray wax? Factoring of course, their price (i.e. I'm not going to buy 12 sasquatchs lol).

How are the green el gordo's?

I'm looking at getting some sasquatches for rinseless washes. Let me know if you want to pool an order!

I ordered a sasquatch on my last CG order. I use it for interior detailing lol. If your looking for some really great towels i would get these https://www.chemicalguys.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MIC_506_06. Got these a while back and love the fact they're dual sided! About to order another set of these soon.

What are u planning on using these towels for?
That's the one im comparing too....
CG Gold SUper towel is no where soft enough to be used on paint....

How/why is the CG gold/black super towel nowhere soft enough? They seems pretty soft and plush to me...?

Maybe it's the way your washing them? Mine come out fluffy and clean every time when I use cg's microfiber wash. Never had an issue with hardness or stiffness. I use one side for applying qd's or waxes and the other side to buff off.

Well im thinking their quality of MF varies from batch to batch...
The ones im talking about are NEW.... i just got them from CG this week

Mine are new also. Just got them less than a month ago. Only used them a handful of times so far but I'm impressed.

Hmm im not sure then.... but of course idk how you see the softness level at...
But all i know is the Fluffer is ALOT softer than the super towel

Hmmm how does the blue fluffer compare, since the blue is more expensive? And are there any CG towels that are comparable to the gold cobra but at a better price level?

i need towel recommendations for super soft paint. planning on using these towels for polish removal only and nothing else.

i wonder if the "bad batch" means they are on sale like this? i just picked up a six pack of the blue fluffers. hope not.
