Werner work platform $22 at HD!

ordered from another HD with great success. picking it up tomorrow

I'm glad this post was helpful to several fellow AGs.Unfortunately for myself I am not able to purchase one for lack of $.Although I'm sure the good Karma will pay off in the near future!

Be carefull with this thing. Its very flimsy. Double check that the hooks are in place before standing on

I almost broke my neck on this thing the 2nd time I used it

They need to make them hold more weight or I need to eliminate something.

If you could beef up the hinges I think it could hold 350 lb's. Besides, if a company says it can hold 225 lb's, then what that really means it can hold at least 250 lb's

You could also work naked. That could save you as much as 5 lb's

:iagree:

Do you guys think they can realistically hold more than 225lbs?

I have two of these... stood on one with 2 people to do electrical work in the ceiling, must have been over 400 lbs together. Held up fine... just make sure that the latches are locked in like Flash said. Also almost killed myself because i was in a rush. But once latched, its sturdy. :props:

Thanks! Just got Lowe's to price match HD. Got it under 22 out the door.

Yeah, I had read that ladders have a factor of safety of 3 before collapsing but this is supposed to account for wear and tear, manufacturing variation, impact loading (higher than the static load), etc.
