Old school waxes...pics and stories, this should bring back memories!

Klasse Act--that Blue Poly in the can--before most of you guys were born I worked with a guy who put that on his car EVERY WEEK (I believe he used the liquid version). He was a true Autogeek before there even was an internet (well, maybe it was a gleam in Al Gore's eye). TC, are you out there?

I was around, I was born in 1970:hotrod2:

Awesome pics! Great thread! Makes me want to start a collection, if I could find any vintage stuff like that.

Check Ebay, I know they've had the old oil cans there:xyxthumbs:

Setec, what was your first car, mine was a 75' Chevelle/Malibu, it said both on the car, LOL! I bet your not that old and people that are older than me are just that, older, not OLD:props:

Should've added a T to the name, imagine that, LOL!

A little detailing forum tidbit for you, Classic Chemical was in Arlington, TX...the home of none other than Scottwax.

First they made spray paint and then came out with something to protect it, LOL!

A few years back my dad and I cleaned out the shed and tossed a bunch of old megs stuff. Wish I would have kept it now.

Ah, the old Chevelle Malibu...350? Nothing like an old A-body, eh?
.

Yes it was, the engine was still orange too, the year before they went to the corporate blue. My Dad traded a rifle for it and I added Vette rally wheels to the rear w/ N50's and Monte Carlo rally's on the front w/ 235/60's. I had a guy install headers on it w/ turbo mufflers bolted to them and that was it! I was a 2 barrel, so it wasn't all that fast but to me it was, first car:dblthumb2:
