Holograms ???

Just bought a new car and noticed it has holograms from the dealership. I have some dodo juice lime prime and one of each lake country ccs pads for da polisher. Will that remove the holograms?

Im sure the community on here can help you a little better if you posted some pictures of what your describing. Most of us know what a hologram is anyways but pics always help the situation.
 
I was trying to get a picture. Car is polished metal metallic and i cant seem to get the holograms in picture

Yes it will and it will most likely remove any hologram you have.

Make sure you are not referring to Lite Version of lime prime which has no abrasives.
 
Yes i have the regular lime prime. Just was wondering wich pad was best. Also, should i follow up with a hard and soft dodo?

It is Trial and error, usually Polishing Pad should be ok IMHO.

Lime Prime has very mild abrasives, I recon you won't need 2 step polishing procedure.

Lime Prime with an Orange pad will likely remove the swirls but it also might leave behind what's call DA Haze or Micro-marring.

See if you can remove the swirls using a polishing pad and before buffing out the entire car do just a Test Spot to one area and make sure you're getting the results you want before buffing out the entire car.

Modern clear coat paints are scratch-sensitive, that is they scratch easily. Micro-marring or DA Haze is a type of scratching that is caused by too aggressive of a pad or too aggressive of a product or a combination of both.


So before settling on a process,

Process = Pad, Product, Tool and Technique


Prove your process by doing a Test Spot to a small area and then inspect. Try the least aggressive products to get the job done. Least aggressive products can include buffing pads.
