My lucky week pad looses its backing pics

So now that penny at ago has fully helped me out with replacing my flex I got this week. My blue lc flat pad used prob a few times came apart not sure how this happened

Pad failure is usually due to heat build up. Either too much pressure, too much product, or using pads that are not fully dried.
 
Can you guys see all three pics ? And the pad was used few times and was fully weeks dry

Yes, I can see all 3. The backing has delaminated. Usually the glue has come loose from heat. You ruled out wet pad. So, it must be too much pressure or saturated pad (with product, not water.)

Now I saw a thread where your Flex melted gears. Obviously a lot of heat there. Were you usng this pad on that machine?
 
I have a grey pad that let go like that from spinning it in a bucket to get the water out after cleaning it
 
HEAT YES!!! what the heck the flex's metal silver part was so hot if i touched it i would have been burned is that normal? I saw bobby saying his has never got that hot. and as for the pad i was using this way later to simply apply wax at speed 2? so deff couldn't have been heat on this either maybe just super defective.

The blue car in the background is actually My Equinox Sport not a Trail Blazer SS wish it was though :)
And that free bag that comes with the one flex kit is extremely nice!
 
I can't stand pads that have the velcro all the way up to the edges of the pad...
 
This is exactly what happened to a batch of pads I recently received in an order from AG. Very strange
 
I have had good luck so far using these particular pads you showed in your picture... Meguiars Pads are the worse even though I love their machine that I use. One washing and the part that attaches to the Machine comes off...
 
can you use super glue to re attach the backing to the pad?
 
All of my lc smart pads did that. I tried to re-attach with 3M spray adhesive but it let go when I cleaned them. Just ordered a bunch more. Maybe these will hold up better. If not, I'll be looking for a different manufacturer.
 
It happened to me to. Looks like I have to order some new ones, for summer. I hope they are on sale soon. I want to stock up...
 
Call AG if you have pads that delaminate. They will likely replace them the first couple times. Work on your technique. Most of you are likely using too much pressure or too much speed or too much product. I had similar problems when I bought my GG 6 in. I had to learn to slow down the machine ( I polish speed 5 on the GG) and let up on pressure. Also to use less product on the pad. When the LC pads get saturated, they get heavy and dont spin as easily.
