1999 LeBaron hey... old beaters need love too

This car was in bad shape. I was able to clean a lot of it up, but there was a lot that was thru the clear. This would be expected from a non garaged daily driver. I could tell the car was repainted, but I don't know what year?

Looking back at what I wrote I think I was misleading. I was talking about some scratches that were too deep. I don't get into wetsanding or anything like that so I do what I can up to that point.

But to help answer what to do about that you might get a buch of answers. It would also depend on the extent of the clear coat damage? If its starting to flake off some might take a razor to it to try and clean it up before trying to put wax on it to make it look better. Others might say just work around it and leave it be.

Ultimately you need level the area out, repaint and reclear.
 
Older cars are no different than older people, with a little loving care we can look pretty good too! :props:
