Can you guys suggest a good cleaner wax, that will not hurt my pocket so much but does its job effectively, durability is not a factor here. Thanks!

Mothers Cleaner Wax is inexpensive and readily available plus it smells nice and easy to use. I like to use it on plastic chrome as a one stepper.

Several cleaners are available over the counter at most auto-parts stores. Two names that come to mind are Meguiar's and Mothers. Both offer quality products at an affordable price... Many times you'll also see Duragloss products and these are top notch as well...

Meguiar's #6
Mothers
Duragloss 101

Agree with Bobby^.

Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax (the maroon bottle) has been a go-to for me for years. Not to disagree with BobbyG, but I think the number on Megs is, A-12.

M06 is the Mirror Glaze cleaner/wax, while A-12 is the maroon bottle consumer version, they are very similar if not identical. As much as I have used those waxes in the old days, I think I would point the OP to Duragloss 501. It's much friendlier as far as trim staining, IME.

+2 DG 501, with great longevity, unlike most cleaner waxes.

Thank you, I was being blind (or ignorant) to the 'M' line.

Thank you guys! keep it coming! Just a question though, can kaio also be used like a cleaner wax?

Oh, I didn't see your location--sure it can, but you may also have access to Car-Lack 68 Premium Systematic Care which would be similar or better.

I always keep Meguiars cleaner wax on hand. In fact I use it on my wheels. A former co worker used to wax his car with it once a week. Despite the swirls, his car was shiny.

Poorboys polish with nuba blue. It cleans its butt off!! and it leave the car really smooth. Order it and if you do not like it I will buy the rest of the bottle from you. Thats how much I like this stuff on my daily driver.

Thank you guys for the inputs, i may try either mother's or megs brand, since these are the once readily available here.:xyxthumbs:
