Whats the difference between #105 and #95

I know that #95 is only for rotary but what's the main difference?

#105: Will cut faster in less time and finish better. SMAT only. Won't leave hazing at all if worked with proper technique. Rotary and DA application. A bit expensive, but worth ever penny! Works very well on Ceramiclear coats, but you should always measure the paint with a thickness gauge to see how much clear coat you have to work with.

#95: Offers a longer working time (old detailers who refuse to change their technique) but it doesn't finish as well as the 105, it will require a pass of a fine polish (like the #205). Rotary only. It's a mix of SMAT and DAT (therefore it will leave a hazing if you stop buffing too soon, which can be a problem if your clear coat is already too thin.). Cheaper than #105.


A good combo is Megs 105 + Megs 205 + Menzerna 85RD + Megs 21 + Carnauba Wax.

:iagree::xyxthumbs: As an alternative to M21 (durable, shiny, but not wet looking) consider Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant. If your car is black, consider Megs Gold Class Carnauba Plus as LSP. It really gives black a wet look.
