Anybody got any tips or tricks on drying? I once used my leaf blower. I hate water spots.

A drying towel or something like the metro is great for drying.

Try doing a search...you will come up with 1,000 posts on it.

I don't dry my Jeep with towels,I just use my wet/dry vacuum as a blower.

I use a wet dry vac and a absorber towel, I actually suck the water up instead of blowing it off

I use the flooding method (letting the hose water flow over your car) to get a lot of the water off my car. Next I spray on some drying aid like Griot's Spray on Wax or Aquawax and finish drying with a microfiber drying towel.

Several have mentioned microfiber drying towels. My paint is fresh and I am waiting out the 90 day curing process. So the mf towels won't put swirls in the paint?

If not sure use a blower.

Towels dont necessarily put swirls in your paint. Its what on top of the paint like a film of dirt and the grit being pushed around that cause the swirls. If your car is squeaky clean and your using a plush good MF towel to dry you will not have any swirls or scratches from drying.

leaf blower and then aquawax with a microfiber. safely dries and boast the sealant. double win!

I use a metro blaster and I love it. Quick and effortless. No waterspots

I too use a master blaster. But before I had that I would use a plush drying towel and the blot and pay technique. Your a lot less likely to instill swirls using this method as your not sliding the towel across the paint surface.

First
Sheet water off from top down (more important on horizontal surfaces) to minimize water on paint with a hose without a sprayer then choose manual or machine method to finish

Manual method
1. Blot using Mothers drying towel
2. Wipe down with a second waffle weave towel. You can mist with something with a waterless wash (or other detailer) to add some lubricity and make the paint shine.

Machine method
1. Metro Master Blaster (never had great results with leaf blower - less control of nozzle blast)
2. Mf towel to clean up a few spots (I do not chase down every since drop with the Master Blaster)

I use an electric leaf blower a bought a couple years ago... It's inexpensive, works very well and I can see no downside to it.

I use my rechargable leaf blower to get around door handles, hood and doors. Then mf towel with Lucas spray wax :)Im the MAN
