LOGO help please

I try my best to help a lot of folks on here so maybe someone can help me out in this case. I have just launched my new website (see below my signature) and I do not yet have a LOGO for the business. I want something that I can use on business cards as well as magnetic signs for the side of my car. I have tried freelogomaker.com and logonerds as well to no avail. Can you suggest someone reasonably priced either through thread response or through PM. Thanks.
 
Have you thought of asking Tony, forum member "YNOT" over at the old DetailCity. Now autopiaforums.com? I know he designed some really cool shirt art and also redesigned the entire DC site before PBMA bought it out.

Just what popped into my head when I read your request.

I should be getting a proof in a few days for my new bizz card and rack card with a possible new logo for my bizz. Once I get it I'll post it and if you like it maybe this guy can help you if you are still looking then.
 
What type are you looking at. I have Photoshop Elements and mess around with it.
 
Thanks, I'll look into those. As far as what I want, to be honest, I don't really know. Something classic car looking, that ties into my web theme/feel/vibe. Make sense?

I'm busy this week on my days off but I can mess around with my PS soon as I can. I made business cards for my Ex's espresso stand and designed cards for our department.....

I'll post them for you when done.

No problem. I see maybe a cartoonish car from your site so not to take anyone elses stuff and whatnot. I'll bounce it around my pea brain. I'm on nights at the klink and fool around in paint until I get my PS at home.

We don't have a logo and have been doing just fine man..... Plus I can say that from experience that the magnetic signs WILL fly off your car lol. I used to have those for about 2 weeks until one either flew off on the highway or it was taken (pretty sure it flew off though) - but then again I had the work truck at the time super slicked up.

What you should do is talk with a couple graphic designers. the ones that are good will be able to come up with exactly what you were looking for in a short amount of time. this is good because they charge by the hour. I told my designer i wanted that old school gas and oil sign from the 50's and 60's look. I think she nailed it. Plus she's my wife so I have a great logo and no bill. Good luck.

Either above or something using the reflections theme with a profile of a classic car shape?

I had them on a car years ago and they never flew off. I don't do much highway driving anyway, so I'm not concerned about that aspect of it. Thanks for your concern though.

So, what you're saying is you had to marry her to get free work? Might be much costlier in the long run, hahhahhahahahahahhaa. Sorry, couldn't help myself!! <evil grin>
