Is this really true??
No once again ppl think they know everything. My friend lives near a busy railroad and I'd say every two month I have to clay when I wax his car. Railroad dust is all over it. So depending where you live and how offen you drive you car through contaminants, you NEED to clay your car before waxing.
If I had to clay every time I waxed/sealed I'd probably look into Iron-X or another good spray on contaminate remover... Probably more risk of damage by claying all the time.
Vacuum seal bags and a fridge fixes that problem. Stop you addiction!!!!!Hello, my name is Kyle, and today I start waxing my car every week for the rest of summer.
While some might say it's a waste of product...could be, yes. But now I'm afraid my waxes and sealants will go bad, and overusing them is the only way I know they'll get used (short of trading them off).
I have three boxes of AutoGlym High Def, plus pots of BFMS, DoDo Juice Supernatural Hybride, Migliore Primo, and I have on the way Autobrite Addiction, Heritage Wax and Valet Pro Artemis Wax Seal pots. We're not even talking sealants (got another six of those). It's more or less one of those, be able to walk in to the collection room (in this case, the floor of my closet) and think "Hmmm...which wax do I want to use today?" and then waste 20 minutes thinking about which wax to use. And I kinda like having a selection of unique waxes, like the three that are on the way.
At least it's not an addiction that will kill anyone...right guys?

Btw it is also proven. Any more them 4 layers of wax will start to flatten out the shine of the clear. Not to mention the waxes stops sticking. Therefore your throwing it away and wasting it. If you wanna throw the waxes away send them my way. Lol
Have a kid or two...then you won't have time for the 2-4 washes & waxes a week....

Yes, i've heard that before. The wife and I are planning on having a couple in a year or two. There will be a lull in washing until the kid turns 5 and I have him washing the lower half of the car and wheels.
As for too much wax dulling the shine...I've had upwards of 15 LSP's on my car and no ill affects. To each his own, gentleman. Don't hate.
