Im looking for a quality paste wax with decent durability for $40 or less. I currently have some 845, and while its durable, its not all that warm and wet looking. I also have some Fuzion that im just not overly impressed with. Its a bit greasy, it doesnt last all that long, and its more sealant looking than nuba looking. The only things i do like about Fuzion are the slickness and the smell.

So, what would anyone reccomend?

BTW, i drive a black metallic 2005 GTO

Hmm...I find 845 to be very nice in terms of it wetness look. Make sure you are applying it very thin.

I'm not sure why you aren't getting the results you want as far as looks with Fuzion, it's supposed to be up there.

As far as trying something new, try this stuff
Pinnacle XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba Paste Wax, XMT car wax, auto wax, best show car wax
I have a couple tubs of it that I use on clients cars and they are always happy and I think it does a great job for the price.

Signature Series II is close to your budget and looks awesome I think. Definitely brighter then Souveran but still carnauba deep. Plus it's easy to use like Fuzion. Or I've heard great things about S100 and P21s which may or may not be the same thing and are both in your budget.

Get a few panel pots of Dodo Blue Velvet. It will make the metallic flake reach out and smack you in the face. Other than that, Signature Series II.

Meguiars Ultimate paste wax it great. If you want durability FK1000p, I love the stuff.

915, P21S, Mothers pure Nuba and the Vic's waxes all fit in that criteria and are great waxes.

I think several of the suggestions don't meet the desired criteria, namely "nuba looking"...

imho

DP Max Wax looks pretty good and so does XMT180 which are both with the price range. I have not had any complaints about using either one of those. I've not tried but I've heard good reports about Chemical Guys XXX

P21S or Poor Boys Natty's. Both don't last very long. I would * guess * P21S is as good as, if not better than Fuzion. The newer P21S 100% Pure Carnuba leaves a pretty slick and glowing finish, but it's about 50 bucks a tin. If you want P21S and don't want to pay shipping, most BMWs dealers (at least in my area) carry most of the full line

Under $40?

Meguiars M21 followed by Meguiars M26.

Or Poorboy's Black Hole Glaze (dark paints) followed my Meguiars M26.
