CG Glossworks/z Glaze

BL can be used by hand or machine. The key is to use very little and apply super thin. When you go to wipe off there should be almost nothing to wipe off. When the BL almost disappears into the paint you know you have applied it just right.

BL does have fine abrasives so if applying by machine over Glossworkz I would use a black or red pad with no pressure at all. Again the key is that less is more.
 
Look at what I got in the mail yesterday, and am hoping to use/test out this weekend!!! :hungry:

Planning to do a wash, mild clay, then lay this baby on 2 coats. Then not sure if will do black light then V7, or maybe go straight to Jetseal then black light then V7, or maybe 50/50 or Petes 53.....

omg decisions. I get all excited lol

Please report back on ease of use, and its filling capabilities (If you have any swirl marks lol)

Yeah I wondered that too. Apparently it's like an "ancient chinese secret" (read that line in an accent too :)

I had to call CG directly, since AG doesn't sell it (tho AG has been told/asked to sell it numerous times).
 
I'd like to see a review / comparo on Glossworkz Glaze vs. PBBH, on a black car. I've used PBBH on my entire car a couple times and sampled Glossworkz on a fender. To me, the PBBH was better. And for the BL users, I wonder if (because the similarities are undeniable) PBBH wouldn't be a very compatible base for BL. Anyway, I keep seeing these threads on Glossworkz glaze like it's the greatest thing, and I'm thinking it is okay, but I've seen better (at least on black).
 
Call CG to order Glossworkz Glaze.

I like it, but as said it's not a miracle product. Very similar to other glazes like Amigo, EZ Creme, PBBH, WG2.0.

I have used PBBH too, and much prefer Blacklight/V7 combo. To me, that is the best wet looking combo that does NOT attract as much dust as say, Souveran or Fuzion.

Do you like BL? Right now, that is my favorite product, hands down.

But like you, I am intrigued by this glossworkz glaze... everyone things it's god's gift to detailers. So I jumped on the bandwagon. I hope it lives up to the hype :( because BL sure did/does.
 
Ive heard a ton of great things about this glaze and its filling capabilities. A review would be great if you had time :)
 
Glossworkz fills like no other glaze I've used including all the popular contenders. it's a great way to have paint look nearly flawless without removing anything. At some point you don't want to keep polishing off clear coat. Most glazes amp up the gloss so looks is a matter of personal preference. It's a product that I find is better as part of a combo. The best stand alone glaze in my view is wet glaze 2.0.

I was comparing PBBH to Glossworkz Glaze, in terms of glazes by themselves. PBBH did more for me. But I'm also thinking it might be neat to try PBBH under BL and/or V7 for kicks and comparisons.

Do I like BL? I'm not sure. I know I like V7. What I can't determine is if the BL is anything that special by itself and/or V7 wouldn't make a lot of things look good. So when people say they love the combo, how do they know they don't really just love V7? How do you isolate the results? Eg, maybe PBBH and V7 might produce similar results?

To be truthful on the Glossworkz, as that is the subject here, I haven't given it an honest test to really know...just speaking from impressions after doing one panel.

I understand... But yeah v7 alone I use after I ONR, and I know it still looks great. But yes maybe v7 on top of any great lsp may look great already.

As for glossworkz...what d y'all think of how to use it? Say I finish doing a mild clay... So glossworkz then bl then v7 or glossworks then fuzion? Orrrrrrr....

I did Glossworkz, then BFWD, then AGHD.
