CarPro Cquartz Dlux - In Stock, Tested & Reviewed

Avi, Is Dlux made to work on plastic Chrome trim?

I already have CQ on one car with 2 coats on the wheels. Is Dlux something I can put on top of my existing CQ protection?

Sorry

i think AG need to revise the description on the product page, its not recommend for paint, i will not be responsible for that.
Avi, any ideas how this will go on smooth trim such as plastic chrome, etc?
no problem.. will work fine

yes it will be fine, for plastic chrome and on CQ coated..

The product page has been revised and the changes made will be reflected soon. :dblthumb2:

Is this for hard trim only? Will it work on truck tonneau covers?

Why can't in be applied with a foam applicator? It may be hard to get into the nooks and crannies with that block.

I wouldn't recommend using it on vinyl tonneau covers, but maybe Avi can chime in. :dblthumb2:

You can apply it with whatever you want, including a foam applicator. The CarPro Microfiber Suede Cloths work great because they minimize product waste. :props:

what is tonneau covers?

@ Avi@CarPro:

What would be best for factory wheels, this DLux or regular CQuartz? (Mostly on German cars with lots of brake dust)

Interesting product. Excited to see how it stacks up against the new solution finish.

Can't wait to play this head to head with SF.

Maybe this is me batting way outta the feild, but my understandig is that SF is a restoration product and Dlux is a protective nano-coating, correct? Like comparing apples to oranges?:help:

You are correct Ted, however I am however expecting to see DLUX restore semi faded trim well and what they have in common is darker more protected trim with a non greasy surface.

use the suede 10cm sheets, apply with your fingers in tight corners.

EDIT: Sorry, I mis-read. I get it, just use the sheets by themselves if needed.

I still don't see how that applicator would work well with a lot of cowls.

Yes i see, i think it should be fine, didnt think of this , im not sure how long it will last, since you must fold it non stop ... but it should be ok... good water beading as well on that...

both will work fine , if you already have cquartz , use the CQ if not buy the DLUX if you plan coating only your wheels and plastics.

Avi, will this crystallize in the bottle after a year on the shelf?
we expecting 1 year shelf life time, if bottle is closed tight and in cool dry space.
its very small quantity , 30ml, we dont sell it in higher than that, so should finish it in a year time.

Hi Avi,

Many of the wheel cleaners commonly used today are strong and rather harsh. How well will Cquartz Dlux hold up to wheel cleaners like IronX or Sonax Full Effect Wheels Cleaner?

no problem at all!!, there is a good detailer in the UK, who run this test on bumper coated with Dlux, for 5 months now, with most harsh chemical degreaser and cleaners... still same as day 1.
