Extreme makeover KIA Interior

What a turnaround, that thing was trashed. I know what you mean as far as getting it perfect.

Wow, that's nasty, good job. I don't know how people can treat their property like that. Money is so hard to come by these days, it amazes me that people don't even remotely take care of their things. I didn't see a car seat. Messes like this are more understandable when kids ride in the car, but when it's adult driven, they are just pigs.

Hopefully you didn't find any panties in that car. Makes you wonder what their house looks like.

Amazing, but give it time, and all that hard work goes out the window. I have customer who owns a dairy, and his wife has a 07 Denali, that is always trashed worse then this KIA. I've done one full detail, and two interior details over the past 9 months. 4 kids can destroy a vehicle.

good job, looks like your aztec hot rod did a lot of work there.
maybe I should get one. How fast does it heat up the water?

I usually put hot water in it to begin with, and it usually takes 10-15 mins to fully heat up and it stays hot during the process.

Actually I think the car is for sale. And yeah the owner has kids and that definitely the part of the mess and pet damage as well.

Thanks, these jobs frustrate me like crazy because in the end it will never be perfect.

I know exactly what you mean! I am always depressed when I finish an interior detail that started out trashed like this, there is always something that doesn't look perfect and frustrates the heck out of me. Yet, when the customer gets that first look and can't believe the turn around it makes it all worth it.

Carpet and Seats:
Folex
Optimum power clean
303 carpet and upholstery cleaner

PLEASE... talk to me about Folex, it's new to me :)

I'd love to hear about it, where to get it, and why it is superior to the other brands like Hoover Deep Extract etc etc, thank you!

Folex can be bought at Home Depot, in gallon or spray bottle size. Its good stuff and I will definitely continue to use it but its probably not the best to use. I just use it for stubborn stains, and it seems to work better than other cleaners that I have. Its not a foamy type of cleaner and thats an advantage if your using an extractor. If Iam not mistaken I think it is a non rinsing solution which means you dont have to use an extractor when using it so its perfect for in between heavy cleanings. I have never used Hoover Deep Extract, so I cant say if its better.

When I am hot water extracting carpet I use Megs APC Plus as a pre treatment, and when I am hot water extracting seats I use 303 carpet and fabric cleaner as the pre treatment. I only use folex on stubborn spot treatment during my process.

Hey, that looks like my brothers car! LOL I give him a very hard time about it, to the point he is starting to apologies when I get in it.
