BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Spray Wax, spray car wax, aerosol wax
So I was one of the lucky winners in the give away a couple weeks ago and have finally gotten around to trying this stuff out. I should say I'm a regular user of BF Crystal Seal as well as the wet diamond all paint protection and couldn't be happier.
This past weekend my car sat over the holiday weekend, outside ofcoarse and it was looking a little worse for wear. I washed the car using the BF rinseless wash sample given to me with my prize (thanks Nick!) and was ready to go. Speaking of the BF rinseless wash, well I like it, nice gloss afterwards and I will say its "sticky" if that makes sense to you guys out there. I guess what I mean is that when you wipe it on to the car it doesn't run off as easy, it "sticks" more. Anyways, I did this yesterday morning, the temps were between the 65-75 that is recommended by BF for best results. It says to spray the product on, let it sit for 5-15 minutes and then wipe off. I pretended I was spray painting my car, single pass and moving along. I actually ran out of the product leaving only the d/s of the roof and a part of my hatch panel, no biggie. Once I was done applying it I looked at the car and it looked like I had matte paint, weird looking as its drying. While I was waiting, I decided to try out another BF product that I bought, their tire gel and let me tell you this.....GREAT PRODUCT
rops: This stuff gives the tires a nice sheen and if you apply a second coat, well, you get a bit more shine!
Now onto the removal.......maybe its just me, but I had to use 2 MF towels to remove it, it didn't come off all that easy. The temps were right and I didn't over apply it, I did it just like the directions said. The first towel basically removed the top layer and spread it out a bit and then I came through with the 2nd towel and that did the trick. Now I will say this though, since this is the first time I've applied caranuba to the CR-Z it gave the paint more depth compared to the Klasse/Zaino/Black Fire i've been using but that's to be expected as caranuba is completely different. Its a more natrual look, I like how it finished for sure! I think I've bee VERY spoiled with the ease of use with Klasse AIO-SG/Zaino Z-5 pro-CS/Black Fire WD/CS but maybe I did something wrong. If you look at the little video in the link it looks like your supposed to spray it on and wipe it in but the directions say to spray it on and let it haze and then remove, even asked Nick about it and he said the latter.
Overall I couldn't argue with the results, they speak for themselves:
Overall look, I'm very proud of the finish on the car!
Right here you see the BF Total Eclipse tire gel as well as the reflection of the fender
*DICLAIMER*
I'm not responsible for the WHIPLASH that Black Fire has created, look at the car at your own riskIm the MAN
So now I'm going to listen to what those who've used this product say, I don't know but maybe I did something wrong with the application but I know this, either way, when I need to get some more caranuba wax, I will be buying BF for sure!
