4in backing Plate for pcxp where are you?
I hope there is.

A smaller version of our 5 and 6 inch plates, this 3.5 inch backing plate is designed for our Spot Buffs 4 inch pads. The 3.5 inch plate has a 5/16” threaded post that screws directly into the Porter Cable 7424. Use any of the Spot Buffs pads, Lake Country 4 inch pads, or Cyclo 4 inch pads to correct small areas of paint or to polish particular spots."
 
Hmm. I think ill use 4in rotary bp for my pcxp. Ill just ise an adaptr
 
Its for the optimum 4.25 mf compounding pads. When i tried the 4in backing plate of lc for flex 3401. It just fits right.
 
Even when using the 4in foam pads. Theres a diff on the performance if the backing plate has full support on the foam

Oh. The rotary bp is 3 3/4. It's not 4in. Anyway. I think i have to try it.
 
That would be total of .5 in. The pad is 4.25in
