Incredibly Cheap Finds

Oh... There marking them down! Same thing happened with the Mirror Glaze gallons last summer. I'll be hitting AA. That means they are d/c them.
 
FYI I had them check the other griots gallon items and everything else rang up full price

$3 for stoners is no bigdeal. Srayaway is $3 everyday anyplace and beats the pants off Stoners

Guess there's no harm in trying. There are a few advanced autos in my area. At least 2 of them have gallons IIRC.

still seems a little too good to be true though...

I have too, but the last 2 batches I bought seemed to not be too good. Very early on when I bought them, the nap seemed thinner, but they worked wonderfully. The last batch or two I bought a year ago the nap is thicker, but they seem to "shed" especially when cleaning glass. They started to leave behind some white fibers. This led me to buy some "premium" MF towels from AG for the newer cars. Did you notice anything like this? I just bought another bag, and hope these are better.

I still have some of the "older" batch left and saved them for waterless washes and spray waxes. They are awesome!

I'd post my receipt but the guy said it wasn't worth it to charge my card and just have it to me

The last store I called said they only carry 2 GG products in gallon sizes now, speed shine and a wax.

That's what I was thinking.

A few weeks ago, I was dumping some used coolant at advanced, and I saw they had a gallon or 2 of it in the back. None up front.

Hmmm.
 
saw this thread yesterday so i thought i would stop by big lots and see what they had. Turns out they had the turtle wax ice clay kit for only $7 so i picked it up. Plan on going back and buying the other 3 left
