KMART has Meg's car care kit (wash, spray wax, and interior wipes) for 9.99. Anyone use these or have opinions?
 
at my local Ollies discount store the other day i picked up 12 bottles of Meguiars foam pad cleaner for .99/ea. normally 7.99/ea

I've yet to see this pad cleaner for sale anywhere in person, you found a great deal, there!

I looked today again and no pad cleaner, which I really like.

However I did get a150oz of tide free and clear for $14

uqw alone is around $10. i bought a kit a few days ago on clearance for $9. so basically everything else you get with it is free...
 
Not really. The uqw is a smaller size in that package then normal.

Just went into the garage and checked the bottle im currently using which is just about out and its 15.2 ounces, which is the same size as the one in the kit...

Good to know. Mo opened up the kit and the bottle looked much smaller but it just made the kit a lot more appealing. Ty.

Meguiar's White Wax at O'Reilly Auto Parts...$5.98.

O'Reilly has a section on their web home page, top right, that has "Clearance," that's where I found it. At the store, on the shelf, it show the original price, but at the check-out it will come up with the discount price.

Picked up the Black Magic Clay and Wax Kit for $3.99 at Ollie's. 50 gram bar and 2 in 1 spray wax which I'll use on my wheels wells. I want to pick up the Nanoskin Fine Grade sponge but it's still back ordered.

Where do they hide them at HD?

Sometimes they have them in a different area than where the others are.




And I did finally get that Meg's kit. Was marked as 17.99, but when I took it to the price check, it was $9.00 even.

Not sure what you mean?

The display models are on the display shelf and have markdown tags on them that read "This unit only"

If your HD doesn't have them marked down yet, ask the Manager when they replace the demo models. I bet it is a system wide policy

nice find, that's about $4 cheaper than everywhere else around. I used it last weekend with the DA and new megs foam discs and it did a great job cleaning up the paint. when oreilly's drops the price on it even more, i'll have to hit them up and get a few tubes... :xyxthumbs:
