Incredibly Cheap Finds

I was at advance picking up a new battery and noticed a lot of stuff was on sale. Replaced the old battery and went back in the store to check it out. 2 bottles of eagle one A-Z for $9! And they throw in a free 5 gallon bucket! To me that's a steal! Also picked up a tire shine applicator and griots interior cleaner. I ended up paying $17 for all of that:)
 
I saw that mitt when I was in there today. Have you used it yet? If not, please give us your opinion when you do.

Saw that today while I was there with buddy Hectour, he was getting a jug of 20w50 Castrol GTX for his 79' RX-7. I told him the OTC products are finally catching up

I'm not sure why they (Eagle One) didn't cover the entire side of the mit? No matter. The polymer appears to be layed on thicker on the mit than it is on the sponge and it has very good coverage. You cannot see through the polymer to the orange sponge underneath. The mit has a nice thick cushioned feel to it. I used it yesterday. I did half of my wifes suv hood with the Nano Med sponge and the other half with the Eagle One mit. Her suv has never been decon before. After comparing the two sides I could still feel some contamination on the sponge side. I redid with the mit and it picked up the rest of the grit. I used onr as lube. The mit was on sale for $21.00 out the door. For the money not a bad deal and no shipping wait or charge and it woked as I expected it to. Someone that has the more expensive 'boutique' brands should do a comparo. This is my first go 'round with the mit/towel and I do like it better than the sponge.

Maybe so you can fold it over and have an easier grip when you're decontaminating the paint.

On a different note, a big thanks to Visitor and the others that recommended the Megs car kit..just for the UQW. I LOVE that stuff. Well worth the discounted price of the kit. I only wish I had bought more.
 
Flexzilla on sale at Menards

After 2 years using the Black Rubber Craftsman Hose , I finally got fed up!!
Yes, its a great hose but I have a wall mount for the hose and its a task unwinding and winding it back up making this the worse part of washing.
Its now Spring and all the stores will be stocking up on their flex hoses supply.
I usually go threw about 5 a season and get all my money back because Bed & Bath takes em all back.
I know guys love the Flexzilla here but the price has keep me back...
I did a search and the usual results came back..$50 for 50 ft and $80 for 100 ft.
I did one more search at a home store not in searches ...Menards
