Since it looks like Mike Pennington provided some input to Popular Mechanics for this article, the may have provided them with the picture I took in 2004 of my daughter using a spray wax. Since the picture was posted to the MOL forum it is their property and they, (Meguiar's), can give permission to use it.

That picture was taken using a first generation Canon Rebel.

Funny how that simple article has gotten so much attention? Here is on our forum in two other threads...

the best part to me was that clear coat is on your car when new but magically disappears and leaves the poor base coat to fend for itself.
