I was wondering how do Max wax stacks up to some of the more exspensive waxes since its on bogo. I have souvern but I don't like using that on my daily drivers.
Thanks

Take a look at the following threads. I heard only good things about it and some describe it as a "hidden gem", others say it is very similar to Souveran. I ordered it on BOGO and I will come back with results.

It does sound like the perfect bang for buck wax for your daily driver, especially since it is on BOGO.

I love Max Wax, so easy to work with and great shine. You cant beat it on BOGO,

you can use this as a topper over a sealant, right?

not the other way around.

I am also looking at trying this out. heard it is nice on light colored cars?

DP Max Wax is the most under rated wax on AGO IMHO:props:
It gets lost in the crowd with all the big name Designer waxes here.

Just tried this out last night on my 2006 Silverado. This is hands down one of the most enjoyable products I've ever used. Its so fast, easy and smooth in application and removal. I'm very glad I got it on BOGO!

You can't beat it on BOGO. It's all I have been using for since last fall. It's SO easy to work with.

I just ordered some yesterday along with some 5.5in pads and a 5in backing plate instead of the bigger 6.5 pads.

i just did too with the fathers day special. what a perfect time to get some goodies!!

I just got my package at home. Gotta love the ups emails that make you want to leave work early. What is the process of using the DA for application? If this is on the container I will check but figured the best is ask here.

For any paste, I used the advice Mike Phillips gave in a thread, I take the wax out of the jar, with gloves, and then glide it over the pad to prime it, put the chunk of wax back in the jar....

I have seen someone on these forums melt the wax, resolidify it in an old deodorant applicator and rub it in that way
:xyxthumbs:

Ive used it a couple times. I would say its half way between P21s and Petes 53 as far as ease of use and durability.

We used it on this black 1959 El Camino which has a basecoat/clearcoat finish.

Max Wax is a true Show Car Wax, that is it has no cleaning ability and should only be used on paint that is clean, smooth and polished to perfection.
