I was about to buy this and then I saw reviews talk about poor battery life and the complaint that the battery stops taking a charge after brief use. The 3M gun looks good but is way to expensive for non commercial use.Does your flashlight use a Xenon bulb?
Big picture is, if it works for you go for it...
I've seen so many threads on this light and that light yet to date, I have never seen anyone find a light that works as well as it does for showing swirls, long battery life, hand-held and versatile as both a swirl finder light and a flashlight for the price of the Brinkmann.

Good to know. Save yourself some money and pick up some rechargeable AA NiMh batteries and a charger.Get the Brinkmann Tuff Max Dual LED. it's available from AG, it uses AA batteries, and it's brighter than the Dual Xenon. That way you won't have to worry about the internal rechargeable battery failing. Just get yourself one of those 40 packs of AA batteries Costco sells. I really love mine, the ergonomics work much better than a regular flashlight. You are able to sit it on a surface and aim one of the lights, as they each pivot. It is a bit fragile, but it's still worth the money. I'm always grabbing for mine.
What is that thing really called?OR, perhaps, the:
"Bob's Brillante Como El Sol Pistola®"
...its far less-costly cousin!
