2009 BMW E90 M3 - SeaJay's Detailing

Sorry im a little confused still about eraser do you polish the car then wipe eraser over all the paint before applying wax or sealant? Wouldn't this remove what polish has been applied?

Um...not sure where to start...

A polish is used to abrade the paint (remove clear coat) to level it to the depth of the scratches. It contains abrasives and oils. A polish is worked into the paint via hand, DA, or rotary and then the residue is wiped off. Most detailers follow their polishing up with either an IPA wipe down (or Carpro Eraser, mineral spirits, etc) or full wash to remove any oils left behind from polishing. Oils from polishing can prevent your LSP from fully bonding to the paint.

Eraser is designed to remove the polishing oils left behind from polishing to ensure a clean surface to apply your LSP or coating.

Hope this clears up some of your confusion.
