It amazes me how quickly she bangs these things out. This parrot was done in about 5 minutes. I love the detail on the feet and eyes:

For those of you who don't know, she's 8 years old!

Better than I could do if I HAD eight years. Good stuff, she's going places if you keep encouraging her!

Sweet. Now the bad news......This is made out of your high grade detailing clay and she added adhesive to it. :bat:

Ya, no kidding..she doesn't get that skill from me!! We have her in an art class once a week for 1/5 hrs.

I give her my Riccardo clay when I'm done with it. I posted a creation she did on here using only detailing clay. I'll add the link if I can find it.
Ya, here it is:

She's a natural.
Thanks! I'm a proud poppa!!

That's pretty cool Richy, really! :props:

The reason she's able to do it is because she's 8. If I tried it at my age I'd crash and burn ending up with something similar to road kill.....

I'd have trouble just making a glob of clay into a ball! Money well spent on the art class but the natural talent has to be there.....which it is.

Very talented, I'd just roll the clay out flat and then let it dry out and call it a plate, or a coaster, or a Frisbee

Thanks Bobby! I hope she never gets bored of doing this.

I hear ya Rick. She obviously didn't get that talent from me!

Thanks Alex, that would be about my effort too.

Thank you.

That's amazing!!! So very talented! Can I have her autograph now?!?!?! She's definitely gonna have a great future.

OK, but I got first dibs when you sell it on ebay!

Wow!! Very cool and good!! Keep encouraging her!

Just steer her away from technical illustration, it's what I do and it's boooorrring! :)

Our forum hosts should send that young lady a case of clay!
(Surely you have some that is close to the expiration date.)

Thank you very much. Yes, I'm very proud of her!

That's really good! I especially like the way she did the feet!
