Agreed, well after you change the pad, haha.Just keep in mind the Flex has overheating problems and it also eats backing plates for breakfest.It gets warm, I haven't heard of them overheating. I've seen maybe 2 complaints about the BP, possible user error? I have one and would purchase again in a heartbeat, matter of fact just got a Flex granite polisher at work, another great machine.
The Griots and a cheap power cord, and the later year models have less power than the older ones. But it does have great warranty. It was documented straight from Griots that the motor is the same=same power. Haven't used one so I can't and won't try to sell the OP on it.
The PCxp is heavy duty, you can drop it and go on like nothing happened..
Just curious, which machines have you used? These seem like forum opinions,not personal. Just trying to get the correct info out there. Thanks
