DGPS vs. spritz sealant

I know the DGPS page claims up to six months life for a coat. Is the spritz sealant the same? I'm going to do a full clay, polish, seal, wax on the gf's Altima this weekend and it would save a LOT of time if I can get by with the Spritz over busting out the DGPS bottle and the buffer.
 
Anyone from AG at least able to help out here? Should I just call up AG and ask? Hoping to find this out by tomorrow morning.
 
You can do that. But it won't be anywhere near the durability of DGPS alone. I know with other spray waxes the durability lacks when used alone, but using over an existing LSP they seem to last longer. Just my experience.
 
I would think the DGPS is the real deal and consider the spritz as a 'booster', buying you a litte more protection time.

Same concept for BFWD and Blackfire's Polymer Spray (again, a 'booster').

If you want a quick and easy solution, consider Opti Seal or Crystal Seal.

My two cents...
 
Thanks for the info guys. It sounds like I'll stick with the liquid product for the initial coat then. I don't really have a problem with the time to do it, it would just be nice to save it since I could do the whole vehicle in probably 20 minutes or less with the spray. The liquid product is probably about 30-40 minutes to buff on, 30 minute wait, and then 10-15 minutes to wipe off.
 
If I'm using DGPS i'll do the outside first, apply the sealant and let it sit while I do the inside. You can let that stuff sit on the paint indefinitely and the best part is wiping it off as a last step right when the car is done.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant is a spray sealant and will not provide the same long-term protection that Deep Gloss Paint Sealant does. It was primarily designed to boost the existing protection provided by Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. However, feel welcome to use Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant as your stand-alone LSP because it will easily yield two months of protection, at minimum.

Apply Deep Gloss Paint Sealant to paint that's squeaky clean, meaning you've clayed and polished the paint and then maintain it with Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant after every other wash for maximum protection and shine.

In between regular washes, use Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz to remove light dust, dirt and bird droppings.

Thanks Nick. I did end up using the spray because I got a really late start and was pressed for time. I might hit it with a coat of the regular DGPS in a week if I have time after washing the vehicle. While I'm on the subject of the spray, a few weeks ago I did my Jeep and put down DGPS topped with Pinnacle SS II (two coats of SS II). Will the SS II cause any problems or even be removed if I hit the Jeep with the spray version?

does the instant detail spritz add to the protection ?
