[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAg3xdwcEj0]Neighbor rinsing his "Ferrari" in the rain[/video]

oops I meant some "Ford" that I don't care what Ford
LOL I forgot that it's a Ford because it seems like he thinks it's a Ferrari because he gets pissed off if you park 'close' to it, and by close I mean less than a car length, if you do park 'close' to his car he'd come out and yell at you telling you to move your car
it really pisses me off when he put cones there when he's not parked there because he thinks the space in front of his house is his property, and he drives it less than 10 times a year

and this guy RINSES his car all the time, NOT wash but only RINSE
today I couldn't stop myself from taking a video when I see him rinsing it in the rain :applause2:

I really don't care what he does to his car, but the most annoying thing is he gets our cars wet too because we park across from him... fawk

lol sorry for the long rant, just wanted to share something funny

what a weirdo. I would take his spot on purpose just to piss him off. I used to have a neighbor do that all the time and I would park in his spot on purpose and one time he got so pissed and went after me so I dropped him. He called the cops and when everyone that was around saw that I was just defending myself they asked me if I wanted to charge him with assault hahahaha. So after that he got pretty scared and never said a word because he knew I could have gotten him thrown in jail. Felt bad for the dude really since I only clipped him once (inner city boxing, kept me out of trouble and helped me when in trouble:xyxthumbs:)

By the way nice MINI

What a weirdo. Sad thing is he thinks that car will be worth something someday.

Im all about loving your car no matter what type or how old, If you spend your hard earned money to get your car thats cool, treat it like your baby. Its the way he acts towards his neighbors that would bothers me.

Thanks Cman, nice R50 you got there too

ya exactly fully respect him to whatever he does to his car but this guy is a total selfish ahole

LOL oh ya I forgot to add that this guy brushes the snow off his car with one of those brushes at the dollar store whenever it snows, and whenever the leaves and cherry blossom fall on his car, will definitely take a video of him next time I see him brushing

I vividly remember my uncle washing his wheels and tires in the rain on his then new 1968 Ford Torino GT.......I was 16 at the time and I too thought that was a bit strange...

Not sure what's more pathetic, a guy taking care of his car the way he sees fit or someone getting all worked up about it...

You don't like water spots on your paint, fair enough, just talk to the guy explaining your concerns... Now, mocking the guy for taking care of HIS propriety, very mature.

Seems to me like the guy is just taking care of his car. Jealousy is a bad look. If you look a bet you they sell more than one Ferrari.

All that I can say on this subject is that I am the one that everyone considers to be "weird" on my block because of the obsessive way that I take care of my car.
It would almost be refreshing to see one of my neighbors actually take care of their car.

OH how I can relate to this!!

My neighbor used to tell me I'll wash the paint off my truck....

  1. It's a 1999
  2. I still have it
  3. It's looks better than new
  4. He's on his third car
  5. He stopped telling me that....
My car's, my time, my hobby......:props:

Oh man...seeing this brought back memories. That's a Ford Probe, and my first car was my sisters 95 Fire engine red Ford Probe. It was such a POS but I was proud to have a car. I washed that car so much. I didn't car how much of a piece of ish it was I took care of it like it was a Benz. My neighbor would always say "you're gonna wash the paint off your car."

Me too. While I don't yell at anyone or take anyone's parking space, I'm sure everyone thinks "this ass wipe is out washing or fiddling with his cars again" about me. Who cares? They're probably sitting inside playing video games or looking at Internet porn - both of which I can tell you is a complete waists of time.
I live in a rental type community where all the houses and garages are attached. No hose hook up is provided. However, I t'eed one off of my washer and wash my car with it or the pressure washer. Some neighbors have asked me: "how do you have a hose?" or have mentioned my cars always look good. But oddly enough: Nobody has
Complained! I was spraying foam all over the place and the property manager walked by and said nothing. Waiting for the nasty note in the door nothing. Go figure.

I dont think its the matter that hes washing his car, or taking care of it, Its that he thinks he owns the PUBLIC street, coning it off or yelling at people when they park there. Screw that guy for doing that. I wouldn't wash my car in the rain but I do wash it every week so people look at me weird.

I had a 94 Probe with the same paint. I feel you pain!

No doubt on that. He ruins the neighborhood for everybody.
One of my neighbors tried to turn his driveway into his own private repair shop. He even used the abandoned house's driveway next door to him, too. It got to the point where the residents couldn't even park on the street. Not to mention the noise and the mess! The cops finally shut him down after we complained.
The point is that if everybody respected each other's space and person, life would be much easier to enjoy.

Washing car in rain:eek::confused:

Who cares. I do it too. It's free clean rinse water.

And thinking that you own the space in front of your house.

You do. At least where I live. I have to pay for repairs on the sidewalk, parkway, and all the way out to the center of the street. If the city ever condemns the street then I can charge people to drive on it.:xyxthumbs:

But from your little vid it looks like you live a totally residential area. Why don't you park in front of your own property and ONLY in front of your own property.
I live in an area that was rezoned for apartments about 40 years ago. And I own the last two houses on the street. Accent on OWN. I tell all the apartment dwellers around me that if the don't like me washing my car, or polishing my car than they had better go out and buy a house of their own.
I actually had several people that complained that I had a long car trailer parked in front of my house and it was taking up three parking spaces. Even after the city parking authority came out and told them that it was my property and I could park whatever I wanted there they still don't get it.

I wash my/family's cars alllll the time, even in the rain, and I get stares from neighbors alllll the time, but this guy RINSES not wash, well maybe it's his way of 'washing'
like I said I have nothing against what he does to his own property
I just find it funny how he's RINSING in the rain, and I just couldn't stop myself from recording it LOL yes I am immature so what

oh yes by the way it is street parking = public parking

I try my best to park in front of my own house because I know how annoying it is because the family next door has 7 cars that parks outside on the street, so what can do you

and this guy likes to park all his cars outside when he can park 3 cars in his back yard but chooses to take up space in the front, but when there's no space in front of his house he parks in front of my house sometimes but he puts cones in front of his house LOL?
and the funny thing is there was one time he put a note on my windshield one time when I parked across the street saying "please park on your own side" LOL WTF :dblthumb2:

seriously "your own side"? lol hypocrite more?
let me repeat it's street parking = public parking
