This black GT-R came in for an extensive correction. The soft GT-R paint presented its own challenges, but with the right tools and products, a high level of correction was achieved. The better part of 2 days was spent getting the car to look its best.

Correction process:
-Makita Rotary, LC PFW, Megs bp, M105
-PCXP, LC orange, Menz SIP
-PCXP, LC black, Menz 85RD

The door jambs and trunk jambs also got attention and were sealed for protection and ease of cleaning.

Thanks for viewing!

nice work, like a mirror. What products used to clean up the exhausts ?

Awesome. You killed it.

I know those paints can be tricky. The end results is perfect.

Thanks. Mother's Aluminum Polish cleaned them nicely.

Nice work!

Thank you!

Yeah, I went through several combos before finding the best one to get the desired results. Thanks!

Hey Jeff, what are your thoughts on the BFWD spray? I have the older liquid version.

BFWD spray? Its just the Deep Gloss spray detailer. I like it.

Looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. Except it doesn't have the dealer installed flaws.

There is an identical GTR parked at the end of my block. It's never been properly cared for. Always parked outside and I asked the owner if he wanted it corrected and he didn't care. said it was a leased car and he will just turn it in and get something else in about a year.:dunno:I wonder why he just didn't get a Yaris.

I always enjoy your posts and the transformations from before and after are the very best....:props:

The black now looks like an inch deep while before it was just an ordinary black finish...

Ah, the beauty of Japanese design and performance, brought back to life.

That GTR looks amazing! You never realize how dirty exhaust tips are until you really get in there and shine them up like you did. Very nice!

Awesome job! The GT-R looks amazing. Keep up the great work.
