Are you talking about a wash mat? I don't know that it "saves" water; the purpose is to reclaim the water so it doesn't pollute.
Excuse my incompetance, perhaps it is a wash mat! How much do those system run? Got any good brand or products that you suggest?
I wasn't suggesting you were incompetent, I was just trying to understand what you were talking about. The price depends on the size of the mat, and when I looked at them a few years ago, they were $800-1200, and that doesn't include any pumps or tanks. Your best bet would be to google wash mats.
I wasnt taking any offense to it. Thank you so much for your help though. I think it is exactly what youre talking about. A buddy of mine is wanting to rent a bay to me at his new shop he is leasing and I would love to do detailing work there. The City of Houston though, is requiring some type of reclaim system. I'm wondering if i can get away with one of these systems since its not exactly "High Volume" like those big production car washes.
