My employer rented a flatbed truck today ,due to ours being in the shop, while we were doing a inspection I noticed the instrument panel looked hazy; upon further inspection the entire interior was covered in dressing that was super slick/ oily. Most likely it was silicone based. The person who applied it either didn't know what they were doing or didn't care, probably the later, it was terrible.

when i bought our charger, the guy who detailed it spayed greasy dressing all over everything on the inside. dash, console, windows, everything! had to use a steamer and APC 5:1 to remove it all. ridiculous!

I was at a local cruise in the other night and I couldn't believe this one cars dash board. It was really black but of course had that nasty greasy look to it. I don't get how some people like that. Plus the glare must be unbearable at times.

Nothing like some 10w30 to give your dash that "freshly detailed" look.

And he probably thought he should have been given the " Detailer of the year" award for doing such a " stellar" job.

@ Swanicyouth

LOL that is funny.

@ BWG707

You are most assuredly 100 % on that.
