Newbie needs help before I order

Well I finally finalized my first order ! Can't wait to pop those swirls out and get that D-Max looking right.

I know there are more things I could have added but this will give me a start. I hope one day to have collection pictures like some of e members on this site.

I took some pictures for you members to look at. I took them with my evo so I am sorry for the bad pictures, I will have my wife take some with her slr camera this week.

Thanks all for the advice. My order should be here on Wednesday. I need to pick up some work lights on a tripod to go along with my garage lighting.

Any advice on speeds and what to look for as far as the polish being worked with the Wolfgang duo ?

Do not know if these pictures will show up as I am new to posting pictures on here.

You have some great products there and should be happy with the results! The Four Star UPP will make that Black pop! Don't forget to take un-packing pictures.

Did you get to switch the 5.5" pads for the 6.5" ones in the kit? Hope so, you will be lots happier.

Oh ya I sure did make the switch. Like I said I work early till sun down so I could not call and order. I just made a note on the order online and they responded right away to let me know that they did switch the pads to the 5.5" pads.

You saw the pictures in the above post of my truck. That was after I washed it. Very sad. No with that damage, you think the choice of pads with you knowing gm paints, was a good choice ? I know you I'd that correction on the 03gm that looked like mine.

I will get a hold of my wife's slr camera to try to take better pictures but figured it would show some of my damage. It doesn't look flat in the sun. Just looks faded.

Should I first do the tsw, look and make sure all the swirls are gone then glaze it or should I correct the whole car then glaze then sealant ?

Made my first AG order and already game planning on the next order ! :props:

Well i finally placed my first order and just received it today. Made sure i took all the members advice and took unpacking pictures. Thanks everyone for all the advice and help. Cant wait to wash and clay it friday after work and then pull it in the garage and get to work till the truck is complete.

Hey all

Well i finally started my truck. Did the 2 bucket wash for the first time and could not believe all the junk at the bottom of the grit guard. I cant believe i was putting that stuff back up on my paint this whole time

Then i clayed the entire truck. Now i have never clayed a truck before or car for that matter and i could not believe the stuff that came off the truck even after i washed it. There were spots that it sounded like sandpaper when i started. Never knew that clay pulls off that much stuff. Paint is all smooth and glassy now. Cant wait to see what the wolfgang duo and sealant does next.

Check out the picture of the clay. That is after only half of my driver side door. Can we say, never been clayed in its life im guessing

Thanks everyone again. The ac is going in the garage and after i eat it is time for correction !
